I had SMBX on my old PC and I reinstalled it like 3 days ago on my Gaming PC! 😀 I love how you can use all the different styles, I love it more than Mario Maker to be honest, I immediately started making a map pack and I’m currently making level 8 for it, surprisingly I didn’t even watch this video beforehand but I don’t think any of these things were in my map pack, also it’s only using SMB3 style, love this fan game so much!

that is not kaizo kaizo is a lot really hard very precise movements to beat very difficult obstacles this is do one relatively easy trick 999 times that's not hard once you can do it once you can do it 999 times look at any kaizo game it is never 1 repetitive trick if you finally have mastered one trick you will never have to use it again in kaizo this is just the same trick which get's a lot easier once you can do it the level goes from hard to easy in the blink of an eye but still cancer and boring either way

I think it's by crouching in mid-air very quickly after hitting the block, leading to mario hitting the block again after uncrouching. It does look like a very difficult move to pull off, though.

You just forgot one thing that bothers me on SMBX games. Getting a mushroom when you're already big Mario. What power up do you expect from a ? block when you're big? Fire Flower, Ice Flower? Maybe a super leaf. But NO. You get a Mushroom!
If some of you who are new to SMBX are into level & episode making for fun, just skip the forums. That community is in the stagnation phase and there has been a feud between two dev teams and their supporters. Just a hint from a game developer to protect your sanity. I've had plans for creating a new hub which would compass a wide variety of fan games, ROM hacking etc. to replace some of the stagnating social constructs for a while now but I cannot bring it to fruition yet due to multiple projects with higher importance taking up my time. That, and the elitists in power at the stagnating forums wouldn't like me promoting it.
I'll agree that Complete Remakes can be horrible when they're not the whole point of a game. Also "tedious/precise platforming" more like "early Mega Man platforming"
