    What are the everyday features that frustrate you the most?? let me know.. I surely would like to see these improved. also potentially roll these improvements out for the X-T4 and X-T3!

      I’d be happy with 4k30 raw as well as long as its raw:)

    Also fuji needs to bring a box format camera with built in 1/4 and time-code in/out connector.

      Would love a box style camera, but i honestly dont expect it to happen this year. I think they are still happy with being labeled as hybrid :(

    4k 120
    10 bit 422
    improved auto focus

      Amanjot, i think that is a given at this point. Atleast 4k120 and 422. But i really hope we get shutter angle and waveforms…

      Agree , please improve the autofocus that focus the subject not the background and no record time limit. I already give up on my XT4 . It turn down on me a few times already. Not too reliable compare to my Canon EOS R

    It's gonna be a bit late for requests...as an embedded software developer, I know they will have locked in the features months (or years ago), and will have been frantically ironing out hardware/software and production issues for ages. Sorry - they won't be listening now; they will be panicking getting their existing features to work correctly right now :) When you say things are not difficult to implement - you have no idea what can go wrong with software, especially at the last minute - been there, done that and have the scars on my back :D I worked for a company once where we invested loads of money in a product launch - we had to take it down as a set of unit tests failed when someone introduced a late breaking feature which had the side effect of breaking another three. The company never did that again...so your last minute hopes I am afraid will be in vane if Fuji as are fastidious as I think they are.

      Haha true Colin, although Fuji did send Kaizen updates to their lineup of cameras continuosly. The issues i mentioned are all firmware things so lets hope!

      The only reason I haven't sell all my fuji gear to buy the Sony A7iv is that I'm waiting for the release of the XH2 and find out if autofocus performance is better.

    man the app is so bad from fuji still. I shot Fuji starting way back to the x100, xt1, xh1 then decided to jump ship to canon eos R. Although it's a great system all their lenses are just to expensive. so after awhile i am back to the XT4 and shocked to see the app has hardly changed since the last time I shot Fuji.

      I agree, its one of the most frustrating apps I've seen in a while. hopefully they hire a programmer for the 10th anniversary! :)

    Shutter speed is better, it’s more accurate and malleable. When you 120fps you’re usually going 243 which ain’t 180 on the nose.

    • @RCWolfFPV
      @RCWolfFPV  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would go 240 in that case. 243, i may be missing something there, for what timeline / render fps?

    1) Waveforms for video and stills. Histogram is the most useless feature ever. Waveforms will provide more info even in photos.
    2) Uncropped 4k60p at least, if not 4k120p. (10 bit 422)
    3) Autofocus. I still trust my 2017 Canon SL2/200D autofocus over the XT4.
    4) Fix the IBIS wobble with their 10-24 lens. It is super ironic that a Canon EFS 10-18 adapted has better stabilization than the native Fuji lens.
    5) Fix the exposure stepping when using the f/2.8 zooms. Since it is highly likely Fuji didn't engineer the 16-55 iris to be mechanically coupled with the zoom ring, they are either applying profile corrections while zooming or the iris is click click clicking when the zoom goes past a certain threshold. If it is the latter, it should be easy to just make it smooth. The exposure stepping should never have existed. It doesn't exist on any other system, especially with a constant aperture lens.
    6) Custom profiles ffs. We have the Q menu for custom photo profiles but I can't save custom video frame rates and profiles. Also, let us use the same photo IQ customization in video. Shooting video with recipes can be a really good thing for quick delivery or social media.
    7) App needs to be fixed. It's not even that expensive for a global company. Just another $500,000 to a million. Peanuts to them.
    8) No 10-24 f/2.8 lens?

    • @RCWolfFPV
      @RCWolfFPV  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      so you share most of the frustration I have, haha, good to know that I am not alone! custom presets, and shutter angle is my biggest gripe, but the app certainly is the most embarassing one. As for the wobble, give Gyroflow a try if you have a gopro lying aroung. there a Video I made, crazy how much gyro stabilization can work. 10-24 is high on my wishlist too, the F4 is merely the only reason I am reluctant to spend so much money on it.

    • @professionalpotato4764
      @professionalpotato4764 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@RCWolfFPV Yeah the f/4 on the 10-24 is quite a dealbreaker. Considering Tamron can make the 11-20 f/2.8 on E-mount at a lower price, I feel the 10-24 is overpriced. Especially when it doesn't even work well for vlogging due to the wobble.
      I don't have a GoPro, but I might end up getting either that or a DJI Pocket2 for vlogs instead.

      @@professionalpotato4764 any actioncam will do. Basically you take the gyrodata only, you dont need the picture.. strap it to your camera and stabilize the footage in post.

      60 fps doesnt satisfy me. 4k 120 fps ( plus internal 10 bit 4:2:2 ) wont come, i will sell all of my fuji gear for switching to canon c70. its so expensive but i am falling love with it. I have no doubt about the improvement of focus, they will not be foolish not to develop it. I think the focus is intentionally weak in xt4. to be able to sell people an autofocus enhancement at the next series. i hope it will come 12 or 14 bit raw (at least as output) because this year is fuji's anniversary. they will want to be mentioned again in the sector where such good machines come out.

    • @professionalpotato4764
      @professionalpotato4764 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@tumaymusic1720 The c70 is a whole different class. It cant take stills and hence shouldnt be compared to a hybrid.
      It seems really expensive though. Why the c70 and not something like the fx3? Or fx6 for a similar price range. The e-VNDs are 1000x better than Canon's fixed NDs, at least while rolling.
      From what a Fujifilm tech staff has said, the poor AF performance is a mix of poor algorithms and weak processor. It is virtually impossible to upgrade it without obtaining a new and faster processor, which might have been available (who knows) but could have caused heat issues. The xt4 already has very weak thermal performance relative to other mirrorless bodies.
