I found what was wrong afterwards with me hitting B for dodge and him drinking his gourd for HP instead that was messing me up. In Star Citizen I have this app called joy2key for certain buttons on my joysticks and it was applying some of those settings to my Xbox controller I had plugged in. I forgot to close that app so was running in the background still.
