Mate, I've got rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, a hole in my heart, fibroids in my lungs and I've recently fought and won two different types of cancer. I've developed a very dark sense of humour over the years that's kept me going through some incredibly dark and difficult times. I'll be fucked if some virus is gunna finish me. Hopefully you'll have finished the mongrel before I peg it although I've given up hope of ever seeing Binky finished before my time is up ha ha ha. A sense of humour in times like this is paramount for our sanity.
Admire your spirit! No fear of death or what comes after. Just another adventure. Someone asked once: "What is it like when you die? The answer is: "It's just like it was before you were born." Do good deeds, embrace your friends, love your family!
Why is your age relevant? Are you subtly suggesting Matt hurries up because you are at increased risk? Stay at home watching TH-cam and even if you are 82 when he finally finishes the Mongrel you'll be around to see it.
No we’re not! The rich can sit in their large houses and gardens and worry in comfort, what about the poor and less well off who don’t even know where their next meal is coming from?
Watching the spacers being turned reminded me of an old WB cartoon where two chipmunks are trying to retrieve their tree from a factory only to see one loaded into a lathe and turned down to a single tooth pick.
Great video Matt, I think we are all taking it seriously now but that doesn't mean we can't maintain a sense of humour to keep us upbeat, bikes looking great thanks for the upload looking forward to the next one stay safe.
There's always room for humour in every situation, keep it coming and stay safe. Bike looking great, interested to see the Sierra sitting there, nice two door, in for a roll cage? 👍👍
Only just caught up with this, in an earlier video I mentioned front wheel clearance, I didn’t think of raked yokes, nice solution. Now I’m hoping you get the bottom of the frame parallel to the ground, stance is everything. Cheers for the humour, keep laughing 😂
Couldn't agree more, we need a good laugh right about now, and I too was a bit skeptical until I saw the bike on its wheels. It's gonna look fantastic! I really enjoy the videos whatever you're building.
Not gonna lie, I was a bit skeptical about the whole look of the bike. I thought that when it was just sat on the base of the frame on the bench, it all seemed a bit too upright but seeing it on it's wheels with the front forks cahanged my mind. I really like the rake of the spine and the front forks. Nice job again mate!
Good fun Matt, enjoyed the video a lot. Interested in what you are going to do with the tank? Need to do something that doesn't hide that awesome looking frame.
Don't listen to those who don't like the bike...... it's a good project I like it........ And look out for the oldies cause you'll soon be one of your lucky!.......before you know it.
You have stuck a smile on my face thanks for the great video , I am currently restoring a royal Enfield and in need of some bars done so if you ever want some extra work hit me up
i agree, totally. We have to maintain our sense of humor, especially during times like these. You and yours stay well, keep up the great work. And the humor. :)
Some type of bump stop maybe polybush to stop fork on frame collision at full lock, used on a lot of downhill mountain bikes between the two clamps on the stantions ? :)
Don't take this the wrong way, Matt, but the bike looks a lot better with its wheels and forks fitted than I expected! Great work - it's going to be so cool. And please keep up the jokes!
Evening Matt hope your ok👍🏻 Sat at home self isolating watching an urchfab video is just the tonic mate 😀 Hope you've got plenty more for us all 🤣 Cheers Stevie 😎
Yo England, just check, maybe some gussets wear that top tube for the rear wheel meets the frame. For structure and might even help with Aesthetics. I wasn't sure in the beginning of this series but the overall side profile looks pretty freaking badass
Looking good! I'd be tempted to add a bit more around the headtube, wrapped around and tied into the sides to eliminate any chance of cracking at 90° joint
AWESOME work Matty. Love the humor as always Mate. Stewy is a real problem sometimes but you're a good parent setting parameters. Keep safe Mate. Billy J..... OZ Land.

The SJV Workshop. I was a young lad when Binky was started. I’m now retired.
Will any of us see binky finished? 😀😁😂
Admire your spirit! No fear of death or what comes after. Just another adventure. Someone asked once: "What is it like when you die? The answer is: "It's just like it was before you were born." Do good deeds, embrace your friends, love your family!
Thanks, Matt for the humor. At 75, I'm very impressed with your fabrication skills and can't wait to see the bike completed....also The Mongrel.
Why is your age relevant? Are you subtly suggesting Matt hurries up because you are at increased risk? Stay at home watching TH-cam and even if you are 82 when he finally finishes the Mongrel you'll be around to see it.
Cheers Roy
Couldn't agree more, to quote one of my favourites , Barry Sheen. " oh, let's have a laugh" . Keep up the good work
Love the humour.
The virus has been a great leveller, rich and famous or poor we are all in the same boat.
No we’re not! The rich can sit in their large houses and gardens and worry in comfort, what about the poor and less well off who don’t even know where their next meal is coming from?
Gold. Every dad of a teen out there can appreciate this.
Nothing wrong with having a few laughs. It’s what keeps us human!! Keep up the good work!!!
A bike is starting to emerge. Humor never hurts Matt, thanks.
Gotta have a sense of humour mate. Keep it up.
I am a totalitarian custodian of the English language: humour.

Your humour is appreciated and great fabrication
And thanks for lookin' out for me!
For one terrible moment I really thought you were one of the God Squad. That was a heart stopping moment !
No, it's not too soon for a laugh. Excellent ecclesiastical lesson too :-) Bike is pure industrial. Cheers.
Working the old Colchester like a boss! Nice job Matt :)
Watching the spacers being turned reminded me of an old WB cartoon where two chipmunks are trying to retrieve their tree from a factory only to see one loaded into a lathe and turned down to a single tooth pick.
Genius! I consider you to be a key worker. Keep entertaining us please!
Great video Matt, I think we are all taking it seriously now but that doesn't mean we can't maintain a sense of humour to keep us upbeat, bikes looking great thanks for the upload looking forward to the next one stay safe.

Great build and some great laughs with it. Keen eye and a keener wit.
Looks very good. Dont ever give up your sense of humour. Whats the story with the sierra in the background? Looks like an interesting project.
That's funny. Keep up the good work. You do what you have to do to get passed this. Don't let others bring you down.

There's always room for humour in every situation, keep it coming and stay safe. Bike looking great, interested to see the Sierra sitting there, nice two door, in for a roll cage? 👍👍
I liked the light hearted feeling of this video. Also the bike looks really cool on the ground.
In this period of doom and gloom, a bit of humour is just the tonic. Great stuff
Thanks Brother and wishing you well.
Mike

Nice one Matt. Stay safe fella!
Nice job matt
Skim the sprocket carrier down on the lathe and job done ...
Cutting down the sprocket mounting flang will require a large swing lathe, how big is the one you have access to.
Don't listen to those who don't like the bike...... it's a good project I like it........ And look out for the oldies cause you'll soon be one of your lucky!.......before you know it.

Got no prob with your home issues with Stuart. Haha. Bike's a bloody interesting project as it turns out. Cheers, stay safe
Make allthe jokes you want, comedy helps us through many, many situations. Good on you.
You have stuck a smile on my face thanks for the great video , I am currently restoring a royal Enfield and in need of some bars done so if you ever want some extra work hit me up
Dude, you need to slap a springer front-end on it, to keep that raw industrial look.
Did you mean the bike or the Minion? :-)
Reckon it would have to be girder forks rather than a springer.
Like these😯not ! .. th-cam.com/video/hFoaCM9knCg/w-d-xo.html
Thank you, I needed that Matt.
Laughter is good for you! Keep it up.
Thanks Matt,I really enjoyed that,Cheers brother 😉
Bike is coming around nicely. Drop the forks a bit further down so the bottom of the frame is horizontal.
i agree, totally. We have to maintain our sense of humor, especially during times like these. You and yours stay well, keep up the great work. And the humor. :)
