I love your storytelling. Your unique voice and delivery gave the story so much atmosphere. The background sound is also very well arranged. I could very well have enjoyed it purely audio as in a radio play. Very well done indeed.
"Saga of a Wayward Sailor" was the first book I read by Tristan Jones. From that point on, I collected and read everything Tristan ever wrote. I had an opportunity to meet Tristan in person many years ago at the Newport, RI Sailboat Show. He was a great storyteller and I think you did Tristan justice with this video. I think he would approve if he was still alive today! 👍👍👍
Brilliant story teller….they were mostly just that. Shame as he also did plenty of great sailing, and would have had more lasting credibility if he had said which were fictional
Fantastic narration. I’m sure you know Roger Taylor sailed his “Ming Mings” @21’ engineless-junk rigged boats up in these waters for up to 90 days non-stop. I’d love to see a summary of his voyages in your style!
I am a HUGE TJ Fan, I started sailing because I found The Incredible Voyage at the Library, many yeaers ago. My 3 leged cat was named Tristan Jones, he lived to 22 years.@@johnjordansailing
