My husband and I have been fighting everyday and these baby Guinea pigs and there insane cuteness relieve some of the pain, thank you for posting these ❤
These are adorable 😍😍 i have a son and dad who live together now and have done for about 3.5 years. They get on perfectly. He was the only boy in the litter and went to live with his dad when he was a few weeks old and started being a bit too interested in his mum and sisters 😬😬. Have done this before and they can start to fight when the male babies hit 3months old, but on this occasion (maybe because it's just one son) they are the best of friends ❤
Good question. I've learned that for rodents the sniffing each others bums is important and their way to get to know each other and also if it is a friend or a foe. 🐹🧡
To be honest I had my doubts. In this case it went just fine when the pups were still very young. A couple of weeks later: too much excitement. With my piggies the father has played a very importing part as he takes care of the boys when they cant stay with their mother or sisters anymore. If, when the boys are older, there are signs of aggression you might have to separate the males from each other. Just in case I do not leave the father out of sight with the pups. They need their mother but he lives right next door with them with a fence between so he can be with them and watch them grow up.
Potato Dad: I made these. Potato Babies: Yeah, whatever. Where's the milkstation? MAMA, come back!
omg, the proportions of their heads and ears to their body are so huge its adorable!

I LOVE SKINNY AND GUINEA PIGS!!!!!!!
Even though they are much more energetic it seems like the babies are much more peaceful and gentle with each other than the adult pigs.

Does a guinea pig dad know that his babies are his babies? Is he trying to figure that out by sniffing?

what role if any does the father play in the babies lives? I always thought the male pig would hurt them.
