@@blacklabel9739 i would say it‘s okay going second. @DifferentDimensionDreamer Awesome to know. I created a new account so I can get the gems to build this deck and rebuild my salads along side it. You mentioned having to bait them out to push for game and I'm used to that because my salads have 14 cards that can start the combo.
@@blacklabel9739 100% it can play through negates easily, especially if your opponent doesn‘t know how to handtrap you. But compared to salad we don’t have as many starters. Natively, this deck only has 6 1-card starters and 3 2-card starters. However, it has 10 extenders which really come in clutch if need be! @@ethanjones926 it‘s a good start :D but do you have any other non engine available? Like effect veiler? And doom king arma in the main deck is a surprising choice. What do you use him for? For the rank 8 play with thomas into kali yuga? And what is your reasoning behind 3 contract with the witch? And i would suggest cutting some things out for engine boosters like 3x nightmare throne and an additional one for one for better consistency :D
@DifferentDimensionDreamer Yeah, that's what i use Doom King Armageddon for, but I could take him out and replace it, and yeah, I have to copies of effect veiler
In my opinion, the minimum core for the deck should be 3 Swirl, 3 Kepler, 3 Griffon, 3 Copernicus (unfortunately), 1 Orthros, 1 Ragna, 1 Rage, 1 Cerberus, 1 Necro, 1 Typhon, 3 Gate, 1 Swamp, and 1 Patent, which adds up to 23 cards. With 17 remaining spots, you can choose to focus on a handtrap-heavy build or a board-breaking strategy. I used to play a 41-card deck with decent results, leaving Lamia, Eternal Darkness, and Thomas in the side deck, and adding more handtraps. It's definitely bricky at times, but it also means that if you don’t get to play, your opponent doesn’t either thanks to your hand full of handtraps. At that point, it comes down to skill-interrupting at the right moment and drawing the out. For the main deck, I’m planning to play 45 cards when I return (I’m a slave to capitalism), including the 23 core cards plus 3 Ash, Nibiru, Imperm, Droll, and Mourner; 1 Called by the Grave; 2 Triple Tactics Talent; 2 Dark Ruler No More; and 2 Evenly Matched (WCQ Berlin made me choose this build, as I believe Se Fiendsmith is more vulnerable to board breakers now compared to the past with the Fire King engine). In the side deck, I’m planning to include 1 Lamia, Thomas, Eternal Darkness, Set Rotation, One for One, Terraforming, 3 Nightmare, Throne Dogwood, 2 Lightning Storm, and 1 Harpie’s Feather Duster. I don’t have the Fiendsmith engine yet, so I can’t say much about it, but I don't think it’s worth playing more than Requiem, as we don’t have much space in the Extra Deck and it mainly helps make Caesar more easily. So, the final board should have 2 Caesars, 1 Machinex, and maybe Siegfried plus Eternal Darkness. The real concern with the Fiendsmith engine should be consistency-it should be our "Diabell." To achieve this, I think at least 3 Engraver and 1 Quick-Play Spell (though it’s a brick if drawn, as you have to discard Engraver to search for it, use it to Link 1 to special summon the second Engraver, then reborn the first by shuffling Requiem and go into Xyz 6) are necessary. Tractus can also be used, but that leaves less space for handtraps and board breakers, and it not a surprise that ddd is not a branded deck with can use engine to win the games and it's hard to control.
so in the case of fiendsmith D/D/D fiendsmith doesnt necessarily generate a better endboard than our regular ones, but it is a huge consistency booster. If you have bricked with only 1 D/D and fiendsmith engine, but want a full-board you could actually do it by sacrificing your first big caesar summoned by the engraver by normal summoning your brick d/d and going into gilgamesh to fetch a contract out of it + set scales. I think your non-engine choices are super interesting, why did you go with mourner over veiler? since mourner is only hotp, wouldn‘t it be more beneficial to habe multiple veilers that you can trigger in the same turn as well? + veiler enables siegfried with typhon in the worst case
@@DifferentDimensionDreamer i do understand your point of view but I have a sentimental attachment with mourner thanks to its burning effect and its during either players turn as long as opponent summons a monster . Regarding veiler synchro into Siegfried , sure it may be good but it also means that it’s your last resort and you don’t have much so maybe hiding your hand and waiting a bit would be wiser choice. But as always it all depends on the context and duel.

@ thanks for the reply. Im trying to get some consistency in my deck against my friends cyber dragon. Havent played yugioh since nekroz and shadoll so my card knowledge is weak
To be honest, I wish we could get a new D/D/D support card so that we can replace Copernicus, which is now quite slow, and also get a better Kepler. To be honest, Copernicus is the worst of the starters; it only serves to foolish, unlike Kepler, which can also be used tactically to bounce a scale, summon it, or something similar. I can’t wait to replace Copernicus with a card like Martha, something that special summons from the deck, graveyard, or Extra Deck, and inflicts damage depending on the level times 100. If it does summon, it treats itself as a Tuner. When Pendulum summoned, it recycles a banished card, and when reborn from the graveyard, it sets a Dark Contract. I also can't wait to replace High Genghis with something more interactive, like a contact fusion card so that we can get rid of the other brick typhon and has an effect that's like yubel so instead of just negating effects, replace the effect with an effect that makes the opponent take 1000 LP damage and we gain half of it while benefiting us as well. Additionally, we need a Link-1 monster for cases when our starter gets interrupted, so we can link into it. On summon, it could foolish a Dark Contract that burns you by 1000 LP during the standby phase, allowing you to apply both effects (taking 1000 LP damage and choosing one of the other effects that foolished card has). When used as material, it should have a + effect that protects our Dark Contracts from leaving the field once per turn by burning the opponent for 1000 LP instead, so it also works with Deus Machinex somehow. We also need a Link-3 monster that protects our monsters and serves as an omni-negate, along with more consistency cards, like a Quick-Play Spell from the anime that adds 3 cards with different scales, and immediately after, lets you Fusion or XYZ summon, then banishes itself to recycle by paying 1000 LP.
Yo Alan! Finally got around to respond to your support ideas! Really cool ideas. I do agree on the coper part. From all the 2 card combo lines, coper is by far my least favourite paired with gryphon. His pend scale effect is really lacking too. If we would have a new starter that extends our plays like martha the deck will instantly be bumped up a tier and I find the effect fair too since the format got powercrept way too much. Everything that replaces our main deck one-ofs with starters that enable us to go full combo is a win in my book. Typhon has to be one of my least desirable hard draws in an opening hand and there are so many times were I just wanna cut him out😪 a contact fuse for us that helps with reviving would be hella clean A link 1 and a link 3 would be great for consistency reasons, maybe even only a link 3 since if we receive main deck support, the main deck monsters should give us enough ways to spam atleast 2 bodys on the field to go into a link 2
another thing i thought about would be a main deck D/D which works like a miscellaneousaurus to protect our plays from interrupts + is a fuse from grave
@@DifferentDimensionDreamer i would love to have such a delight as well but let’s be real for the moment one miscell is enough and it’s not viable and unfair. We already have rage and eternal I think we need more tools to deal more easily with gy, hand, boardbreakers .
@@DifferentDimensionDreamer of course when I ask a question I figure out my issue one minute later lol I had forbidden dark contract with the swamp king. Not the regular dark contract. And that solved my issue 😂
The unfortunate thing here is that 1 space in the ED is just wasted for a Machinex that is just there to get stuck in the ED rather than be more useful than combo extension. We either need to get another self rank-up Xyz or a link-3...preferably something that unclogs the ED from your hybrids that get stuck there stuck there
for sure! Getting a new link 3 would be something really nice or a link 1 in the case when we don‘t get a second body on field. Something that boosts our consistency through interruptions. But on other hand, having an additional Machinex in the ED comes in handy quite often atleast in my playstyle, cause I have found myself to scale him in the follow up turn when i go for the OTK
I have this deck in real life, i want to use it when i play the game and get better, im just wondering how do i get this deck? As not all cards are available, do i need to spend gems if so how many for a full deck do you reckon? Sorry its 4months late 😂
haha no problem, cool question tho. So you have to first craft one super rare D/D card to unlock the secret pack „cross-dimensional contracts“ in the shop (I would recommend to craft „Dark Contract with the Gate“, since you need 3 anyway). That pack will stay there for 24h. Then you can buy it with gems. For the full deck core I spent 5000 gems and basically pulled almost everything. The two chase cards where big genghis and siegfried, since they are ultra rares in the pack. Lastly, you have to craft 2x machinex with your UR crafting points, since he can be only pulled via master packs for some reason. Hope that helps!

out😪 a contact fuse for us that helps with reviving would be hella clean
A link 1 and a link 3 would be great for consistency reasons, maybe even only a link 3 since if we receive main deck support, the main deck monsters should give us enough ways to spam atleast 2 bodys on the field to go into a link 2
another thing i thought about would be a main deck D/D which works like a miscellaneousaurus to protect our plays from interrupts + is a fuse from grave
@@DifferentDimensionDreamer i would love to have such a delight as well but let’s be real for the moment one miscell is enough and it’s not viable and unfair. We already have rage and eternal I think we need more tools to deal more easily with gy, hand, boardbreakers .
greetings from spain
Hey Alejandro :D greetings back🤙🏽
For some weird reason on the first combo, dark contract of swap king doesn’t activate for me. Does anyone know why?
Do you have a replay? maybe the opponent locked you into something? or did you have enough fusion material in grave hand or field?
@@DifferentDimensionDreamer of course when I ask a question I figure out my issue one minute later lol I had forbidden dark contract with the swamp king. Not the regular dark contract. And that solved my issue 😂
@@Jtown4591 hahaha okay i see! nah change that thing out real quick, it‘s not good😂
@@DifferentDimensionDreamer I did one better. I deleted all copies of that card 😂
Gracias por la guia
Sin problema, gracias por ver :)
That or, wish Machinex's pendulum effect allowed you to select pendulums in your Extra Deck as well for the swap
@@DifferentDimensionDreamer thankyou so much actually helped alot
crazy sound quality :o
Thx bro u a real one for that❤️
TEN PART SERIES?!?!?😭 TO LEARN ONE DECK?!?!?

Yes, in Europe D/D/D is still very cheap to buy

In my guide part 9 I will show a brief deck profile as well!
so where's the spreadsheet?
Surprise surprise, there is no spreadsheet anymore, since Gilgamesh and Gryphon were released some years ago :D But it's now the go-to meme for this deck. However, if you really want to have a spreadsheet, there is this unofficial one from the D/D/D community: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ZHwR4bKkeAWBVp01c5NNeIw5lwuRjjZX5lusHshhnAA/edit?usp=sharing
Foster Fort
El deck es más oh menos
Y barato
Pero pero para el rango maestro no sirve mucho
Es cierto, pero por lo menos es divertido :D
Thanks
