Agree, the mapping of the places is a good idea & cute too. Realised this video has a different vibe from your previous videos, I enjoy watching both! And that old-school camera/ film processing shop is impressive. So many such shops have closed down but they pressed-on in this digital age & learn to adapt without losing that nostalgic charm. The camera you bought is so cute, now I want one too! You even did the homework for us & compared the price with online prices haha. How does uncle price lower than online merchants???
Came across your channel through a Reddit recommendation and was pleasantly surprised by the content and how you introduced the shops! Keep being yourself and staying authentic.
Yay! You guys went Whampoa Colour Centre, my favorite film development shop! The Uncle is super helpful and damn hardworking, sometimes I receive the scans of the film during midnight.
@@HongisBored haha, the half-frame cameras aren't easy to use cause they're fixed aperture at like F10, minimum 1-metre focus distance, so that everything is in focus, at low light or indoors must use flash already. It's a different type of photography that the Gen-Zs actually like (not overly processed and perfect kind of photos)
Interesting 🎉 Didn’t know there’s this miniature shop around, looks interesting ❤❤❤ And the map makes viewing so much easier and for illustration too ❤❤❤
Your videos encourage me to explore places. Hot weather does not effect me like before. Thanks again as I want to visit my childhood haunts before I die😅

Love this video. Hope to explore Whampoa market next time I pass through Singapore. However, why was your joke " 千瓶不醉" considered "cheap' and low level and "hard to accept"? I thought the "comment" was funny and harmless.
Or can you create a poll see how many viewer want u to shoot food episode? Strike the iron when it is hot. U really very good push on jia you don’t stop shooting
If you use half frame camera, you will get double the photos in a roll of film. Hence saving a lot of developing cost and also you don't have to buy too many rolls of film while travelling......😊
@@HongisBored I used to own one during my younger days. Can't afford extra money back then for this passion. 😪 I did own a Konica Sumurai camera for that matter.
Why this video so short. There are many good stuff in whampoa area! There's actually 2 old school bread shop. One of them near whampoa market - Sweetlands Confectionery & Bake
Thanks for covering whampoa but it’s too short and there are not enough details. Whampoa is bigger than a mall and just the market alone can take a while episode. Then there is the surround areas with other unique shops and kopi tiam.
Thanks for your comment. If there are quite a number of other shops we missed out, we’ll consider another episode as it’s quite hard to fit all the shops in 1 episode hence we just featured the ones we were truly interested in and aware of at the moment
That shop with nice cashier logo is all clear.not sure closed now or clear stock and re start again. Btw there is another 24 hours bread shop near the market 😊
It's nice for a change to explore old estate. By mapping out the places that you visit is a good idea too.
That map was thought of and illustrated by Jiejie. She got good ideas n skills 🤣
