wait, you’re saying that kobe would be the only person that could win with peak pau? Have you seen how efficient and productive he was before he joined the lakers? that has nothing to do with Kobe. Plenty of the all time greats would win with pau and to say otherwise is just a way to bring pau down to bring kobe up.
8:30 i cant explain to you how pulling the chair on Gasol at that moment was such a absurdly veteran move. But how fucking cool Gasol was in that moment, to avoid that, compose himself, double clutch over two defenders and put the Lakers up by 6 is some HOF clutchness right there. Aand if you didnt know Rasheed was known for that. And he half tried, didnt work, cause Gasol a vet two, then he gets himself back in position cause he a vet too. High level shit right there.

Tough shot, its a miracle the ball went in
Over three Celtics players
Me too, but, there is some footage where you can see he shoots the ball after his feet touch the ground, being that a travel. Almost impossible to notice in real time of course. So proud to have witnessed Pau play both in the NBA and with the spanish national team.
That's a travel!
I came here after he announced his retirement.
Thank you Pau Gasol for the accomplishments you've done for the Lakers. 💜💛
True Lakers fans nothing but kind words for Pau à True Laker legend but this vidéo title should read Pau coming up big in game 7 there were 6 other games and we know what Kobe did offensively in those first 6 and what he did defensively in game 7 along with 13 rebounds if i’m accurate this is a clear shot at Kobe
Remember this game .. it was awesome
Pau averaged 20 and 11 in the playoffs both 09 and 10 when that dropped off they didnt win again
Kameron C And dey say Kobe not in goat convos 🤦♂️ what other superstar could win with Pau as da second best player coming out da West? 🤷♂️🤔
Samuel Díez I don’t think you read da comment above you got any facts to refute dis? 😂🤔
@Samuel Díez you ain't had to do him like that. Chill
wait, you’re saying that kobe would be the only person that could win with peak pau? Have you seen how efficient and productive he was before he joined the lakers? that has nothing to do with Kobe. Plenty of the all time greats would win with pau and to say otherwise is just a way to bring pau down to bring kobe up.
Samuel Díez meant to reply other dude
Pau GOATsol: 2 NBA Champ, future induction to the hall of fame
I got goosebumps when Pau made that shot at 1:30 in the 4th quarter. Man how time flies
Will never forget this game me my sister and my mom watching every possession. One of my favorite life memory
8:33 i remember as a kid thinking "how on earth did he make that??" Pau jersey better be retired one day in staples
Its shamr that he didnt stayed in lakers and finish his carer in la
@@reltihfloda7419 he reserves
He'll play another season after the bubble
Same
there was steps on that move
And 10 years later he named his baby after Gianna 🙌🏼
Respect Pau
Watching is this live was one of the most intense experiences of my life
Congrats for the Hall, Pau !
Anyone come here after the Pau Gasol ceremony? Like he said “Game 7, just like it was yesterday”
What a game. I still get emotional. These are my Lakers ❤️
Underated center he is my favorite center of all time 💪💪
8:30 i cant explain to you how pulling the chair on Gasol at that moment was such a absurdly veteran move.
8:33 one of the toughest baskets under the rim I've ever seen, over 3 defenders....
really was a tough shot, not even considering the pressure of the situation
yep. kobe, the mj wannabe, usually crumbles inside a triple team
3:54 Kobe couldn't control his excitement.
skippy malkovich 😂😂
lol
Gayyeeeee
The double pump Pau shot with 1:32 left is an all time great shot. So much on the line. He was a monster this game. We needed him as Kobe was pressing early.
Pau Gasol is incredibly underrated.
I watch this live on cable back in 2010, But now I noticed Pau really put his soul on this Game, Look at his facial expression at 9:00, that look is ready to kill or to be killed. But he killed this one. Nice one Pau. You really saved Kobe's Legacy. You belong to the HOF.
That guy Artest looks a lot like Meta Worldpeace

Right. Kobe was overall pretty bad in elimination games
Kobe was awful when it mattered the most but people always boasting about his "clutch gene"
G Fleury I can tell you never watched Kobe play with shaq since Kobe did good in multiple playoff games against the spurs for example
@@tony4834 I said ELIMINATION games, not playoff games. Learn how to read
@@tony4834 2001 was not an elimination game, you know why?... dun dun dun he wasn't facing elimination
Pau played a terrific game.
What
All the way from Spain baby🇪🇸
Pau won at the beginning of the decade . Marc wins at the end of the decade .
Fun fact both finals mvps of those titles names begin with a K , and were superstar wing players winning there second finals mvp
Maurice Johnson fun fact, i love men
hardyzRKO huh????
Lol kawhi is not even close to the level of kobe don't ever compare that bum to Kobe.
Alexander Sandoval he definitely not it was just a fun fact bro lol Kobe goat
@@hardyzRKO ha, gayyyy?
I used to criticized Gasol for being soft but man this guy played his heart out for the Lakers . Huge Reason why Kobe was able to win 2 more rings . First ballot hall of gamer no doubt. What a great moment to be immortalized along with other legends . #16 in the rafters well deserve
So they retired his jersey?
Everybody was playing good defense, it’s game 7 the finals everybody was nervous asl
Not just Game 7 of the Finals, but Game 7 of the Finals between the oldest rivals of the league. This was the most important game of most of these players' careers.
lebron love game 7
Memories for i graduated that day That night we won Lakers became the Champs damn forever Kobe My laker Legend
RIP to a legend
You had to feel great for the guy. He closed off the game
makes me mad and sad how horribly we treated pau. the man had skill and the organization just let the media butcher him it wasnt deserved, tho sometimes it was like damn it pau dunk that shit
F1nalB0zz yeah true pau was my guy but sometimes he just had to dunk the damn ball. The years after his productivity started to diminish.
@@F1nalB0zz what happened?
@@M.Đ-z4u with what?
@@F1nalB0zz with gasol in la.who treated him bad?
Gasol had 2-3 bodies on him the whole damn time still too good he should've won this finals mvp I swear
As much as I love Kobe, this caption is true. He changed life when he got to LA. Kobe would NOT have won without him and Bynum. Period.
When they actually played defense in the nba instead of letting everyone shoot 3’s
Marcelino Zuniga stfu
And when professionals teams were having 20% shooting in a nba finals
nice now I know you don't actually watch games
Good times.
@@Josue-vt9iw Oh please, great defense or not, shooting 20% on a professional level is a joke.
I remember this as it was yesterday, I was screaming and jumping all around my house, amazing day
Pau Gasol had a big impact on game 7 and the Lakers still only won by 4 points. If Pau game had been off a little, I doubt the Lakers would have won being how close the game was, I think it also helped a lot that game 7 was on their home floor.
Thank you so much Pau! and the rest of the roster! You are the best player for me in game 7! Kobe is so greatful to have you.
