Criminally underrated. I am 39 and got into him a few years ago. My daughter is 14 and just got into him. So much so she wants to see him on his tour. If people take the time with their kids (on many subjects) they do respond.
@@patriciarowe6685 Thanks to my (sadly now late) Mum, I love both Gilbert and Carpenters, along with Barry Manilow. I'm 36 now and learned everything by them, by osmosis. I took her to see Gilbert live 8 times and last Sunday I went to see him live, this time for her rather than with her. I do the same with The Carpenters Story, where every time she would reminisce about when she saw Carpenters live in Southport in the 1970's and after seeing Barry live with her 9 times, I sadly made the 10th concert without her, but I shall continue to always attend for her. I think it's our duty to gift this quality music to future generations. We shall never hear the likes again I don't think.
@@kmb-wk2fm I am sorry for your loss. It is up to us to show our children great music. Thanks to my parents I have an appreciation for wonderful meaningful music. You have so many wonderful memories I am happy to hear music is keeping her memories alive. Sending love.

This man is a proper star. Major contribution to popular music which will endure. Bloody nice fella too

Mr. O'Sullivan is surprisingly an underrated singer and does not get credit where credit is due.
Saw him live 2023 his voice hasn't changed. He still sounds like he did in his early years.Really enjoyed his concert

Love the song, but it makes me cry every time!!! Thats ok, music today doesn't compare to what I grew up with, way back in the good old days!

Can’t wait to see him in Buxton in October ❤
Hi Val, you'll have a great night🎉not long now🎉
@@AnneTerry-jb7mp thanks! So looking forward to it 😃
😊
Gilbert is so right,..Neil Sedaka was a genius too
Why is Gilbert's mic 10 dB lower than the presenters?
When he starts smiling at 5:55, you can see the 21-year-old GOS.
I wouldn’t sell Toilet roll on Gbeebies…
Verdad que Gilbert O' Sullivan es Irlandés??
Yes that’s right
Twice I had tickets to see him at Birmingham, hotel booked and paid for, twice he cancelled and I lost the hotel money, won't bother again!
Dig deeper and ask his agent why as a fan you were ignored
Gilbert hates bad publicity
@@welshcelt9406 thanks for the idea,we were really looking forward to seeing him,
