In this video I go over the Maintenance of a Grasshopper 725D Changing blades, greasing zerks, Changing oil and filter and switching from a snowthrower to a mowing deck.
Do you ever change the oil in the gear box on the deck. Just bought a new one for 315 dollars. i do not think they want you to service them the way they are put in the deck
@@redneckIngenuity no… it’s a snow thrower.. I had a model 512… it’s was good up until you hit slushy stuff then you might as well put it back in the shed… I inherited a old airens got snow blower I’ve been eyeing lately…. Might mount that to the grasshopper to see what happens
There is one on the back spindle as well. I missed it in the video.
I will check again but I don't think I have one there.

I have not, but I will check into it
That’s not a snow blower
Maybe not for some parts, but for ohio, it's more than qualified. If we ever get snow, I will be doing a video on it this year.

@ELDIABLOPELICANO a distinction without much of a difference. But you are correct.
@@redneckIngenuity well it is though… snow thrower = single stage… snow blower = 2 stage
@ELDIABLOPELICANO I understand that. The end result is the same. Snow gets thrown out of a chute and off of the surface you want cleared.
