The 266 was the old version of the 308 (the threads were at the nib end of the section...I think). The never retooled the die that created the bands and its now a piece of Penbbs trivia
My 308 nib looks a bit bent upwards at the tip, is that normal?
Yes, unless it is marked R all PenBBS pens have what is called a Waverley nib which bends away from feed a little bit
