The way Shanks was cooking:
Uses Future Sight which is another level of Observation Haki
Uses Divine Departure like his captain
Destroys Kid with one attack
And we haven't seen everything from Shanks yet. The fact that he only has one arm left definitely doesn't make a difference. I like the way he is powerful and badass as the Emperor when someone tries to hurt his friends
His presence and aura alone are incredible - as we've seen before.
Kid did not stand a chance, sadly.

@@starletentertainment5183 Yes i know that, that's why he couldn't do nothing against Shanks. It was not a VS fight, it was a reminder that Shanks is really really strong. Luffy has a crew and a group of allies also. Law and Kid haven't that.

The roger pirates were too early and have been waiting for a certain individual, Rayleigh was waiting at the entrance of the new world anticipating luffy’s arrival after shanks told him about his dream. Even crocus helped the strawhats at the entrance of the grand line! Luffy would not be where he is today without the roger pirates 😂
Kid’s cocky ego and overconfidence is what led to his dreams being taken away from him in the blink of an eye. He forgot that he didn’t beat Big Mom all on his own. Don’t misunderstand me and the rest of you should take this into consideration too, Kid is in no way weak, he is definitely worth 3 Billion for a reason, Shanks was simply just the stronger one of the two. With his observation haki he saw the ill-fated future that Kid would have caused massive destruction to Elbaph and his fleet with his Damned Punk. So with that deep insight into the future he wanted to nip this mess in the bud before it had the chance to get ugly, real ugly. Shanks took this matter and Kid both very seriously and knew that he had to end it all in one blow.

4:27 : Did Oda made a ref to the famous character of a famous old game Monkey's Island named Guybrush Ulysses Threepwood ?! The Observation's Haki of Shanks was way powerfull of Luffy and Katakuri. The famous attack that Gol D Roger did to Oden "Divine Departure" was so dope. An attack full of Conquors Haki. And like in Demaon Slayer after a battle against a demon, we saw the downfall in Hell of Kid and Killer and the fire burn the shoot like a vive card who burned. The 2 giants making the same move they made to help Luffy's crew to leave Little Garden. Amazing episode.
*I already saw that one shot coming😂, shanks is the #1 strongest emperor out there. I also think he didn't wanna see luffy despite his 3 billion bounty because he knew luffy wasn't at his level yet, and for them to meet, luffy has to master Gear 5 form/unlock different forms of gear 5 like he did with gear 4* 🔥

kind of OP that kidd got 1 shot for a 3 billion bounty. Usually, 1 billion bounty or less takes forever on fight cuz of what they can do but get 1 shot for 3 billion bounty is just too much.
Shanks has one shot Kid to the same way Kaido has done to Luffy in wano to the first meeting and I can say Divine Departure and Thunder Bagua are equally powerful due to the conqueror'haki used
I guess it all comes down to the level and control they have over their Conqueror's Haki. Conqueror Haki's level differs from each individual comparing Kaido, luffy, Kidd, Katakuri and shanks. Having said that, after Joyboy and Gol.D.Roger, Shanks Conqueror's haki is said to be the strongest so, I think the power levels differ from Kaido to Shanks.

I don't understand why it was cut (Victoria Punk). Do you remember the Island Eating Fish back at Little Garden? They made a massive hole in that thing. So I expected the same. I don't like the cutting sound, I want an exploding sound, coz the term "destroyed" doesn't fit being cut.
Their weapon at that time was dull due to 100years of fighting. Remember that is one plot point of the Little Garden. Dorry was not cut even when Broggy hit him. The reason they said is because their weapons are too dull now.
But this time, they got new weapons. You know its new because their previous weapon got shattered after little garden.
Summary: Old and dull weapon = blunt force causing hole
New and sharp weapon = slicing attack
With one move, Shanks took out 4 Billion Berry worth of pirates.

Yes , Shanks uses Divine Departure just like his captain but the swords are different . Roger used Ace , which was a Supreme Grade sword and Shanks uses Gryphon , and we don't know yet where it ranks among the blades .

I think if Luffy fights Shanks he will lose, unless Luffy has observation haki that is further ahead. or Luffy relies on his randomness so that the future cannot be guessed by Shanks.
