Again, great video again. How many can we still expect? I think you have covered almost all topics 🙂, 73 Ronald PH7R. PS did not know there was also an internal HL2 PS.
Thanks Kurt for all your help and sharing great tips for the HL2. :) After following all the instructions, I seem to have a distorted signal (my voice or 2 tone sounds "fuzzy" like a robot) when I turn on PS-A. I don't have a separate Sampler with RF3 mod, so just tying to get it working natively. Tried double checking all the settings in Thetis as you & both with no Amplifier, & using my XPA125B Any advice on what I might have set incorrectly?
Setup / F/W set RX1 sample rate So you probaly have 384000, right? As I explained in one of the first video's it is not recommended to have a higher sample rate of 192000 as the processor or the HL2 is unable to handle higher bandwitdhs of 192000 Set it to 192000 and you'll be all right. Please let me know the outcome....
It is just right after my amplifier. I have a coax cable going out of my amp, going into the sampler. And from there to the Antenna. The output of the sample sma connecter is connected to the HL2.
Hello. Thank you very much for your videos, they are very interesting. I have a Hermes Lite, and something strange happens to it. When I put the device in transmission mode erratically, I hear the relays switching. There is no pattern and I don't know why it happens. I don't know if something similar has happened to you or if there is some type of configuration that solves the problem. thank you very much for everything
1. What is your SWR? 2. Did you connect the Hermes to your computer with a UTP cable. 3. What is the network speed on your network card? It should be 1000mbs 4. Packet drops might be related to RFI. Check with lower power. I recommend you to view the very last video in the series from Zero to Hero. th-cam.com/video/PQfODpykwcY/w-d-xo.html Clicking relays indicate packet drops.
@ON7OFF I'm going to do all the checks you ask of me and I'll answer again. I think you're right about the speed of the network. Thank you very much for responding so quickly. For me it is important. thank, thank, thank.
@@ON7OFF As expected you were right. The direct Ethernet cable connection between the computer and the device and the 3.5 jack connection for PTT control solves the problem. wonderful and very fast. thank you, thank you very much
Excellent. thank you
Thanks

I think we are almost half way! Many more topics to cover

Hi Kurt, where is picture of the sampler's final connection to Hermes lite antenna input???
It is just right after my amplifier. I have a coax cable going out of my amp, going into the sampler. And from there to the Antenna. The output of the sample sma connecter is connected to the HL2.
Do you have to do the pure signal mod on the board to use these pure signal settings? Thanks for an answer.
Nope, internal Pure signal is available without any hardware modification.
Kurt, did you also add the attenuator to the VK3AMP sampler or only the self build attenuator?
On both...
