During my time as a student in Sweden, working as a reklam (advertisement distributor) was a very common job to earn money. I recall that around 97% of students took up such jobs to make ends meet. It involved distributing pamphlets and brochures to households and businesses. While financially helpful for students, it was also quite physically demanding and required working in all weather conditions.

Hi Funke, dunno if you watched the video, but I mentioned the average pay at the beginning. Some of the jobs I mentioned are mostly common in big cities. During the early times of corona, they were not that easy to get. But now that thinks are opening up. I believe it won’t be as difficult as before.
Hi Nnenna, thanks for the helpful video. I will be in Sweden for 6 months as part of my exchange studies it is possible to get the personal number with a resident permit of 6 month's duration?
If youre lucky enough you should be able to secure a personal number under 6 months, although its not quaranteed. As of residence yes you can easily find apartments specifically for Uni students

hi Nnenna , nice video and well explained . for the extra jobs in movies and shoots, do you pay tax from that and can that job be your main job ? can you get work permit just for extra job after study ?
Hi Emmanuel, the extra jobs may be taxed depending on how much you are paid for an outing. It cannot be your main job and doesn't fulfil the criteria for getting a permit.

Hi Mina, most jobs will require a personal number/coordination number. It takes approx 3 months (more or less) to get a personal number. I got mine within 3 weeks. But different people have different experiences

Hello, you can browse for cleaning companies in sweden for example, check their website and careers. Also check the companies I mentioned in the video.

Hi Bharba, no you don’t need a work permit. As a student your residence permit qualifies you to work.

Hi, did you watch till the end? It is not advisable to depend on a job for the balance cos you may not get one early, or the pay may be too small

Possible, but usually companies begin to take you seriously as an applicant one or two months before your graduation. Otherwise, you'll just get rejection emails.
Hi Nnenna, I just applied for Autumn 2023 and I have gotten a response from the 2 school I applied but am confused on this tuition fee of 300k to 600k, is the fee for 3years of study or just for 1year academic session
