I love true honest food reviews that are not sugar coated. Way too many youtuber food reviewers say the food was good but really it's just eatable.
Just waiting as long as you did should have been a tip off to a so-so experience. I like the way you showcased the waiter. It’s not their fault how the food comes out! As usual, Matthew, great review… I know where I am going when I go to Vegas. Oscar’s!!😋

Lisa & Bill now you can what I mean as no TH-camrs has done a 4 pounds big lobster!! Of course, I can’t watch all the foodie videos out there. I have never seen Matthew’s videos. It just popped out and the big lobster head caught my eyes 👀, haha!! But, he said it’s a 2 pounds lobster even though the lobster head looks big!!!!

Steakhouses are my jam in Vegas. Definitely gonna try them all. Going to Barry’s at circa next month.
I agree, yeah I really want to like Resort World, but it seem like they keep striking out. The lobster was ok, steak was ok, onion rings-ok, steak bites were good, but for the price one would expect better overall IMO. Oh by the way, what did you name your rib cap, with all that blood I thought it was still alive.. lmao.
Kiddd74, we agree on the rib cap. I think it walked across plate at wrong time. I may have heard a distant moo here and there. No wonder they have such good knives.

Great honest review of both the restaurant and the food you ordered. After watching your experience at Carversteak I purposely didn’t try it out when I was at Resorts World last week even though I do like the property. Based on the prices and service alone there are many other steakhouses worth trying that I will go to back again (i.e. Bavette’s, Cut, etc.). These restaurant review videos are great so looking forward to more. Cheers!

Great video Matthew, you are very relatable to what I like so I take on board what you say about places. Sadly I’m not sure when I will next be in Vegas! You need to come to the uk and try some of the places here! I found a pub with the most amazing brisket the other day! Also were you there during a storm? Looked like lightning at the window at 00:59 😆
Hey Matthew great review, I would eat there because I like the vibe, loud music, nice and bright, but I would just order apps and drinks, oh and I might buy a knife 🔪 lol
It looked in the video as though you cut the rib cap with the grain, which would make it a little more tough for chewing. I've made the same mistake before on good cuts of meat. I'd go there for those wagyu cheesesteak sliders. They looked delicious. We are seeing Carrie Underwood at RW in May, and not sure if we are eating at the resort before the show, but based on the video I wouldn't suggest it to those we are going with. Thanks for the review!

We where in vegas a couple of weeks ago and had phenomenal bone in rib-eye steaks at Smith & Wollensky at the Venetian- you should definitely check it out

I'm heading to Vegas in a couple of weeks and will be staying at Resorts World. Made a dinner reservation at Carver Steak, I don't have high expectations for it but hopefully I'll have a good meal with my lady. I'm sure our meal there would be pricey. 😅

That lobster looked great, I knew I would try that when I saw it on Turn It Up's video! Those wagyu sliders looked delicious too! They only gave you one shishito with your steak too, so that was kinda cheap. I like the knife presentation, even if it is a little gimmicky. #ItsVegas
Pretty consistent for a Resorts World restaurant☹️too loud and waiting that long for your steak is ridiculous. I love Prime at Bellagio. I think it’s really underrated!

It looked promising, loved the ambiance, looked like a huge outdoor area. Food on video looks good but glad you get to try it for us and tell us what it’s really like. Hands down best warm, buttery and tasty dinner rolls I’ve EVER had were at Oscar’s Steakhouse. 👌🏼

New subscriber hair I just got back from Vegas yesterday. First of all thank you for putting out the video. I have followed the advice from you and other TH-camrs and when you guys say a place is good I know it's really good.
For my money if you paid $300 for dinner. It needs to check all the boxes from ambiance , personnel I mean across the board. There is just too many good steakhouses in Vegas for it to be so-so in one area

Still no desire to visit Resorts World. I haven't seen one positive video on it from ANY TH-camr's channel. Did you ever try the Steakhouse at Circus, Circus? I had a very good dining experience there.

Hugo's Cellar in the basement of the 4queens use to be my favorite place. Haven't been there for 20 years but I see it's still in business!

I'm just going to take your word that it was a mediocre experience ... This is what I like about your food videos ... You don't pretend to like everything.
90 dollar steaks. It is nice on the inside. Top dollar wagyu is well 55 a ounce. I have not tried it so I will not review. I just peered into the steak house.
I would get a comp for this pricey steak house. Thx for the pros and cons!
Above all. One thing a steakhouse has to get right is the order. If you ask for Medium it has to be medium. Thank you for your review. This is a pass for my wife and me.
The lobster thing looked cool and it’s not something you see at the other steak houses. Clearly the Last Resort … errr I mean Resorts World, needs to sort out their dining situation. The venue looks pretty nice but if you’re paying premium prices it should be outstanding across the board. Another gooodd fooood video Matthew!
$310....And no beverages...plus tip ($50?)..that's not good when you don't even get a properly cooked steak. The wait staff should be right there at first bite to find out if it's cooked to your order....

I personally find the slot machines at RW really tight. Maybe I was there on off days lol
Question #1, did you put the butter on the bread to make it less dry?
Question #2, for as much as you paid for that rib cap why didn’t you send it back? I know you waited long but to get it medium shouldn’t have took long.

It seems like the restaurants at Resorts World still have major improvements to make. I remember watching a video from All You Can Vegas at Genting Palace. They served Derek chicken that was almost raw. 😲 I was also excited about their street eats food court but most of the dishes are hit or miss.
They have really nice basic rooms and a fantastic pool. That's about it.
The saddest part is I suspect "They are the only ones who don't think so"...
They need to get it together. Soooo much food competition in Las Vegas.

That lobster dish for real creeped me out. I would have sent it back and told them to fix it correctly. For $70, the steak should have cut like butter and melted in your mouth.

You are my goto expert on Rib Cap so if you say it's not great I believe you. To bad about the Meh service. So many great Steakhouses in Vegas I wouldn't make a trip for it.

I love you out the prices down, Resort world restaurants really haven’t been impressive. Although the Venues look great.
In all fairness to the restaurant I think all the food looked great, a new place can have service issues. That steak looked perfect to me, so as you said, everybody's experience is different. Not bad for a new place, would have liked to see the whole menu, went online and it was not available...
Appetizer looked good. I'm like you Matthew on the steak I would think about sending it back but would more than likely eat it. The lobster for $95 did not look appealing with all that sauce. For $95 the star should be the lobster in all its glory. I'm Vegas bound first week of May and I will try it out. Keep up the good work!

50 K subs by May 1st.. 100K byt NYE. I'm a betting girl and I love Vegas. Loved that you reviewed this . Resorts World was not yet open last time I went in early 2021.That whole resort/casino does not appeal to me at all and honestly I will not even go there when I visit Vegas in June and Oct this year. But , love how you show all the places for those who may be interested. The presentaion on that lobster was really beautiful! ( But Oscar's and a visit to Bobby is the place for a rib cap!!)

I went to Carver steak One night ordered the lobster bisque soup it was terrible and the steak was just all right we’ll never go back you need to go to maestro steak and seafood that’s very good and if you get a chance go up to red rock Casino and go to T bones steakhouse they have eight different breads to choose from incredible

rib cap is super fatty and full of flavor but also full of gristle in spots too. so, im curious, i never see you with a lady, so is that man your partner? im sure other longer subscribers know the answer, but i have been curious is all. thx for the video, so much of it looks so yummy.

Went to Carversteak yesterday, it was so freezing cold, the AC was on very, very low, had to leave and did not enjoy the dinner of course...The food is good, but not amazing

Question Matt - Couldnt the waiter explain the sauce and how to eat without pouring it all over YOUR lobster . Maybe he should let you sample the sauce first ...

Seems like Resorts World is basically an average place that looks nice. I haven't bothered to go inside on my last 2 trips, too out of the way to give average service
