Yea, I had the ultrasonic cleaner winning that one too.. Nice job! The only thing better is taking a layer off with fine grit wet sand. But you can only do that a couple of times before they are damaged.
This is borderline obsessive-compulsive behavior. How dirty can a set of darts become? Personally, I have never had to "clean" my darts but, if I did, I would just throw them in with my dinner dishes, dry them off, and I would be done. Get real.
I dont think you're alone in your opinion but i know a few guys with ultrasonic cleaners. Also you may have never felt the need to clean your darts but they do lose grip over time with oils from your fingers and dead skin cells etc. I dont know what darts you throw but people who like a high level of grip will clean their barrels regularly
Mate I think you should get real, it's his darts he can do what he wants, as the other comment said when your darts get dirty they tend to lose grip you obviously dont play enough darts to experience that...

I know that Ultrasonic cleaners can take the paint off darts, is there any chance it can damage the surface of the barrels?
Which brand of ultrasonic cleaner do you use? Where can i get it? Thanks in advance!
I've been using a ultra sonic cleaner for two years, just water and drop or two of soap for my darts.
A TOOTH BRUSH AND TOOTHPASTE OR BAKING SODA FOR CLEAN, THAT IS IT! CHEAP N" EASY
