I owned an E-Class Coupe, and I just replaced it with the CLE last week. There is no difference in drive and comfort; I also prefer the new interior. Other than the B-pillar, everything else is either an upgrade or remained the same (from my experience so far).
I'm an American Expat in Europe and your CLE 300 AMG Line is almost identical to my one which is due in May. Only thing is, that mine is Opal Bright White and I have order Tonka Brown interior and the more advanced headlights. Thanks for sharing this informative video. Not a fan of the bumper rear guards on US Spec'd German cars. CHEERS!
Not too thrilled about M-B's newer designs for it's coupes and sedans. The SL and GT cars have been consistently good though, if not better looking with each new iteration.
3:35 I was just thinking that, the rag top of the convertible kills the lines kinda, and that's not what the comparisons about, it's about New vs. old.
I had a C43 convertible for 4 years, sold it 2 years ago and missed it everyday. I ordered a moonglow white with Tonya brown leather interior CLE cabriolet and it should get here in July, 1-2 weeks before my birthday.
It's a shame that they didn't make the CLS anymore, much much better looking than both these vehicle. That make no sense, cause the CLS should be the only coupe in the line up- the luxury sexy version of the E class, instead of the downgrade CLE-based on the C Class😢
I have the E coupe. Honeslty, this will not replace a E class. It's more like an upgraded C. I'll stick to mine until I have enough money for an S coupe.
Not a fan , but we won't have a choice if we want to "upgrade". It looks like a C Class refresh and not a merge of the 2. They've taken away the spacious S Class coupe, now the roomy E class coupe, and we're left with the CLE?

This should have been called c coupe as this is what it is. B pillarless e coupe will be missed
