Sounds awesome! Thanks for sharing! The rules are a product I have not seen anyone talk about before and they sound quite interesting! It will be great to hear more about them as you dig in and use them at the table. The Codex is a book I have and imo it's a solid choice. It's an original creation of Teven Chenault, but I believe he credits Tolkien and Greyhawk as inspirational. Good things should follow! Cheers!
3d6 in order RPG is just early D&D with an emphasis on roll your stats in order and stop crying :) But is it worth it? I think it is a nice option to get a fully complete one book game of D&D that you can offer up to a group of new gamers. Minimal cash risk. I'm likely going to add it to my collection.
How this compares to GURPS, in feel and complexity? I would love a simpler system that don't bogs combat out, and have that D&D bite to it! EDIT: Silly me! It's a good OSR D&D clone. I saw 3D6 and thought of GURPS!

I respect that you use the right way of rolling stats, 3d6 in order. I don't think I agree with the binding wounds because I like my game to be lethal and dangerous but I would have to see how the rule works. I also think at 0HP you're dead that's it.
