Well... you have to admit... these levels do royally suck! I wonder what the person who made them was thinking while they made them. Something like "Hmm... let us make the most horrible, time-wasting level in history to annoy the average person!"
This is why Nintendo needs a 'hot garbage' label and to be willing to prune levels more.
There is a difference between a well-made troll level that advertises what it is and a horribly made "Time waster!" level that detracts from Mario Maker 2.
@@christopherkidwell9817 True. The lvls in this video are exceptionally bad. Many creators of these levels seem to think like that. The first one even states DGR will hate it.
But on the other hand a lot of creators probably don't know better (unexperienced/too young/etc) and I think it could hurt some people pretty bad to see the lvl they spend a lot of time and effort on being rated as "trash".

I spent over an hour and a half trying to beat “DGR will hate this level” so that he wouldn’t have to, only to find that DAVE HIMSELF got the first clear just before me. I was unimaginably pissed.

See if you can see the creator tried I'd avoid the boo button but when they make hot garbage they need to know it's not good. Otherwise they .ight think oh my god I made a hard level look how good that is.

the problem with the Boo button, is really challenging levels get boo'd by kids who think its bad because its simply hard.. and your course never sees the light of day if it gets boo'd on the 1st or 2nd person who plays it. It becomes a Diamond in a haystack that noone cares about, i've made some hot garbage myself, but even my good levels don't get the recognition they deserve.. and guess what.. the easiest level i create.. gets all the likes.. even though it was just like 20 jumps, and rising lava... -_- I spend many hours on these courses, granted I enjoy making them, but I am bad at playing the game itself, so If i can complete my courses most people can.. boos shouldn't ultimately decide whether your course is shown on the Endless Challenges, there should be a window of oppertunity where.. x# of boos reduces the odds-- and if the course gets no likes with many boos (from a Endless Challenge player) then it gets pulled out of the EC pool and.. as another youtube suggested, make another Game Mode where all the non-EC courses can be played randomly in that Mode as a ALL-In-One random collection challenge...
LSS: I think the boo button is good in Theory.. but in practice its basically making a lot of good levels non-existant...

I thought the ship wrecks were a reference to the ghost ship levels out of water in 3D world. I assumed, since they never had an ocean, they had water but sand was behind it, they decided they could combine the ocean with an actual level from 3D world.
I guess they could be interpreted as any of those ships though, as almost every 3D Mario game has had some sort of ship, air or water.
