izme1000 I know what you mean. I played that and I got a quarter of the way done on the first half and landed on a spike and I didn’t do it again. It was a good concept but it was way too long and tedious.

@@g2g591 It seemed interesting so I went and did all the intended stuff. The boom booms hit the on off switch an even number of times but you can get them to hit it once with some finesse. The kaizo blocks just stop you after. Kinda pointless.

11:11 that is a very old glitch so i thought he would know that. When a magic koopa hits a turned off spike blcok it will make it disappear and a random enemy will appear
Same with the two boom booms. When two boom booms are basically merged together they fly even without wings. Blocks get them stuck in the shell state

Four of my levels with no clears:
"Flying, in castle, many spinks" have to finish with cape! 3S6-K4D-WQG
"10 seconds run 2" have to beat difficult level in little time. QVM-5G8-7RG
"Lots of jumps" have to jump from block to block, whole level twice. 0RT-V2L-9MG
"Carefully through the castle" going through a castle filled with saws. LX7-0FW-GRG

8:40 I haven't actually laughed out loud at something on TH-cam in a while, but I choked on my tea here haha.
The on/off block glitch is known about. When a magic koopa shoots one of those blocks it turns into something, (bomb, mushroom etc.) it stays visable but you can just walk through it. I am pretty sure that was how you are supposed to beat the level. There was a spot right under the switches that had like 4 magic koopa's that would shoot a bunch of blocks and let you through.

This has since been patched, but originally Magikoopas could hit the giant colored on/off spike blocks, turning them into something and removing their collision.

Most of the glitches in the second level are already patched. But because this level was uploaded in v1.0.0, they are still in the level.
Nintendo doesn't patch glitches in older levels, so they don't break when relying on them.

That was a special barricade with a colour that the program Dave is recording with is programmed to camouflate that colour that it finds with the rest of the screen. Another words, that was just a barricade that Dave always uses!

On Dunking, I Killed the Fish, No Coin. I tried using the three coins as blocks to jump up the Bonsai Bills, No goal! I got trapped on the red spikes ONLY once, but I fell to my death at that little hidden block hole more times than I could count. I beat it though! Good Job to us both DGR.

11:20 that was an old glitch in the earlier versions of mm2. It was patched but levels made before still have it to prevent levels being rendered impossible because of glitch incorporation.

So it looks like the magic koopas can change the on and off spike blocks into other items but the image of them still stay around due to how the one level played out.

Those glitches were fixed in a previous patch, so they are no longer in the game. The level was created before the patch so it gets to keep its glitches, since nintendo now opts to keep the older levels in the older versions
