I am sure the blower would work but, more importantly, is the quick attach hitch the same for the 420 as for the 425, etc? I am not sure that it is and that will be a problem...
The carrier bearing that the drive shaft passes through bolts to the frame under the front of the tractor I leave it bolted on year round and don't remember if it is bolted on from the front or rear. However, I can't ever recall there being a question as to how to fit it, so it must be obvious...
JD445 04qs I found the installation instructions for the Front PTO Kit after trying how to install the driveshaft with some trouble also. It looks like your carriage bolts are reversed. Mine was configured wrong also. Hope this helps someone else struggling also. Not as obvious as suggested in the reply here. Is that a single or two stage blower? How do you tell the difference? Can the quick attach be used for other implements? Another good info video. Thanks, Jody.
That is a single stage blower. I've cleared huge amounts of snow with it and never had a problem with snow clogging the chute. The two stage version, in addition to the auger, has an impeller in the center that forces the snow up the chute. The quick attach also functions for other front mounted implements such the snow blade and rotary broom...
Thanks. The latest LEDs put out lots of light (as shown in one of my videos) and stay cool, whereas halogens are always going generate heat that could cause a problem...
I watched this the past 2 years, thank you SO MUCH! I can never remember
Looks good. You have your tire chains on inside out. The open part of the hooks should face away from the tire
Where did you get that bucket and forks for your tractor?
Would have been nice to see you work the connections.
Is the Blower a M00062?
Tesser could you get the model of the blower, I have a 420, I think there the same just different motors and a few other things

@@tesser5250 Hello Tesser
What is the model number of your blower?
Does the bearing bolt outside or inside of the frame ?

Just picked one up, and wondered also. There is a taper to one side of the bearing housing, so I assume it matters.
