Looks like you had a nice four days away. It is interesting how everybody there seems to have at least an elementary knowledge of English-I wonder how many English people in England could express themselves in Polish in the same way and to the same standard. I am lucky as I did G.C.E. Polish many years ago and got an A as a school subject but I doubt if it is very common or popular otherwise.
In fairness my school didn’t have an option of Polish 😛
@@britinpoland2392 In fairness my school didn't have an option of Polish either. I left secondary modern school in 1971 aged just fifteen with a cycling proficiency certificate but it was not hard to get a book out of the library and teach myself Polish. All I had to do was to fill in the form and pay the fee as well as remember to turn up at the right time on the right date at the right venue. I did not pay a single penny for language tuition, except of course for the examination entry fee, and still achieved my objective. If I can do it, so can you!
