ഇത്രയും വലിയ ഒരു പോർട്ട് വരുമ്പോൾ ശെരിക്കും നമുക്ക് ഒരു Express highway ആവിശ്യമല്ലേ ശെരിക്കും. ഇവിടെ വരുന്ന കാർഗോ മറ്റ് States ലേക്ക് ഇപ്പോൾ ഉള്ള നമ്മുടെ NH ലൂടെ ആണ് പോകുന്നതെങ്കിൽ അത് വലിയ ഒരു ട്രാഫിക് പ്രോബ്ലം ഉണ്ടാകില്ലേ event four line complete ആയാൽപോലും. Four line സത്യത്തിൽ നമ്മുടെ ഇപ്പോഴത്തെ ട്രാഫിക് പ്രശ്നം മാത്രം ആണ് ഉപകാരപ്പെടുക അതിലേക്കു ചരക്കുഗതാഗതം കൂടി വന്നാൽ വീണ്ടും പഴയ അവസ്ഥ ആവില്ലേ. അങ്ങനെ വന്നാൽ ഈ four line ന്റെ പ്രയോജനം നമ്മൾ കേരളത്തിലെ ജനങ്ങൾക്ക്‌ പൂർണ്ണ അർത്ഥത്തിൽ ലഭിക്കുമോ. അതി പരിഹരിക്കാൻ ഒരു express highway വരുന്നതാവില്ലേ നല്ലത്.

ഈ പോർട്ടിന്റെ ബനിഫിറ്റ് മൊത്തവും തമിഴ് നാട് കൊണ്ടു് പോകും അതാണ് ഇപ്പോൾ കാണ്ന്നത്, കാരണം ഔട്ടർ റിംഗ് റോഡിന്റെ യും NH 744 റോഡിന്റെയും ഭൂമി ഏറ്റെടുക്കുന്നതിനു വേണ്ടി എല്ലാവരുടെയും പ്രമാണം വാങ്ങി വച്ചിറ്റ് 14 മാസമായി ഇതുവരെ കേരള ഗവണ്മെന്റ് അനങ്ങിയിട്ടില്ല, എന്നാൽ ഒരു പൈസ പോലും ചിലവ് കേരളാ ഗവണ്മെറ്റിനു വരാത്ത റോഡ് ആണ് NH744 കടമ്പാട്ടുകോണം ചെങ്കോട്ടറോഡ്, അതിനു പോലും കേരളാ ഗവണ്മെന്റ് ഉത്തരവ്റക്കിയിട്ടില്ല ഇതൊക്കെ ദയനീയമാണ് അല്ലാതെന്തുപറയാൻ

Only those with a skillset can get a job in the port. If you are educated and trained in that field, you can also get a job there. People from locality have first preference. The problem is that a lot of people don't have the skill required for the job. Also, the main job creation is indirect jobs. Not direct jobs.
There is skilled work institutions started already to train local youth
