Is the Gospel Peace & Security or Fear & Self-Examination?

Most reformed Christians would agree that we are to find our peace and security within the gospel of Jesus, but a lot of times we find ourselves being filled with fear and plagued with self examination. If we’re honest about our own sinful nature, God’s abundant grace and mercy seems to be something that couldn’t possibly apply to us. A lot of us wrestle with the thought of this and wonder, “Do I really belong to Christ?” In this clip, we discuss the power of the gospel, and how we, sinner-saints within the church, still desperately need our souls comforted by the good news of the gospel!
