I agree , I had two of temu before I knew about sculptors and artists, I wasn't keen on them so started getting authentics , but its nobody else's business really, I do think they're great for children though, it teaches them to care for babies and gives them happiness also for care homes , the authentic are too expensive and precious to get messed up , I don't mean to be derogatory to children and elderly ( I am 62) 😂and worked in care most of my life and God love them those dolls went through the mill !! ❤️
Totally agree with you Sarah and as you said the key word is EDUCATION , as I feel some ladies who buy fake babies have no clue and genuinely elieve they have a reborn baby who they then post pics of on group Quite a number of well known groups have had pic s posted on them , it would not make me leave a group and I'm certainly not into the keyboard bullying that surrounds this ! As I said it's the classroom bully situation As A collector of a number of years now , I do not advocate copies , I would not buy one How we stop this ? I don't know but perhaps a quiet word with a person , if we see them , maybe a start instead of the name and shame And of course , it's a whole different ball game with those who are actually buying and reborningfake kits ,knowingly adding to this problem, I would name them

When I started in the hobby I was trying to rear 3 boys as a single parent. I burned with longing for months and in the end sold something very precious to get my first doll. I would gladly have snatched someone’s arm off for a replica of today’s standard. Nobody is entitled to anything but if something makes it quite a bit easier to get such an important (to them) item, why bash them ? I am sorry for the sculptor’s because any day now, AI is going to better what Bountiful Babies has been doing. I have been privileged to have owned, and had to sell, when one of my boys needed something urgently, some beautiful dolls. Replicas don’t scratch the itch as well as our preferred reborns but who can judge anyone for trying to improve their lot? The heart wants what the heart wants and nobody, apart from the sculptors can judge. To those who know and enjoy better, their genuine work will be of higher value than ever ❤❤❤

Honestly this is so last season dahhhhling...the people STILL banging on about it and getting their knickers in a twist are hilarious...and have norhing better to do ... I had a fake ..big grin ...in part to piss idiots off ...much to my glee it worked... She was cute though i liked her ...but gave her to my granddaughter who was thrilled ..think it lives in the golden time cupboard st school now . Im a natural born sod if you hadnt guessed ....but yeah it doesn't sit right with me its somewhat like crapping in your own breakfast owning one ..i mean why do that and jeopardise the hobby you enjoy ? Its bizarre and somewhat entitled tbh . If you can't afford then save if you can't save then find another hobby .brutal but true . However the bullying is utter bullshit, mob rule won't work ! I don't understand about some of the sculptors.. They make limited edition sculpts. And they sell them all. Now, don't they have all the money they expected to make from them? And if I love one, how else am I going to get it? And if the sculptor has the money they wanted from them, why do they care what happens to it? I don't hear Kellogg's yelling about my frosting corn flakes from Kroger
You could all get together who she told lies about and report her on Facebook and they will boot her off Facebook Facebook people like that have nothing else to do and live sad lives instead of getting on with there own lives they like to poke in other people's they also get me angry people like that take care hunny love little Dylan's outfit xxx
