I grew up watching Steve Sanders and Allison Payne Nine O'Clock News outside the Chicago Area in Birmingham, Alabama Southside Clairmont Apartment front of the Highland Golf Course cross the street towards Avondale Elementary School in the 90's and the 2000's until Mark Suppelsa and Micah Mattere too over News at Nine at the End of the First Decade of the 2000's.
I'm from Detroit and I remember Allison many years ago when she was a young school girl in Detroit. Her father Mr. Payne was my teacher at Nolan Middle School. Everyday Allison would walk from her school St. Rita's a private catholic school to my school because her school let out early, there she would join her dad my English teacher until our school let out for the day. We were the same age and just to have witnessed the bond she and her dad had was amazing. She was strikingly beautiful then and as an adult. 🙏
I really liked her and enjoyed her broadcasts. She was lovely to watch and was smart and good at her job! That’s why hearing of her early demise makes me sad! But watching this clip makes me glad she did have good times and lived life to the fullest for the most part! What else can you do or say? She’s a sweet memory now and life has to go on but whenever I see WGN news it will remind me of her because she was the best News Anchor there for years! I can’t forget her nor do I want to! RIP Sweet Lady! 💐

@@GlobalTrader9 look here honey. When your in your seventies people younger than you are girls. It is an affectionate term. Friends in the 60 70 and 80's refer to themselves as the girls. People like you are so annoying. You don't know what your talking about but you make sure you get your lousey 2 cents in. Go eat some tofu . I bet there is no woman in your life and never has been. Because if there ever was you would know better. Allison was a very pretty girl
Not necessary to argue over nothing you two. Woman, Lady, Sister, Girl is all acceptable. Women refer to other women by using Girl. I here my wife use it as well.
Allison passed away September 1st. The news was shared Saturday this weekend. She was such a great dedicated journalist in addition to being warm, caring, and lovely person. ♥
How did she never get married or have children? That baffles me. Then again I never married or had children, lol. I have my reasons though. I REFUSE to let the trash in my hometown (Bmore) dictate to me how to act on my job, as I am a fairly quiet worker. I kept getting fired or quitting jobs with heavy racism and unequal treatment of selected employees. I cant raise a child that way so instead of taking the risk, I chose not to because I will hurt a person trying to control me on a job. I have no problem working at all BUT I don't play job politics, I dont kiss ass, and I dont need to be micro- managed. I digress, but she was a stunningly beautiful woman who probably just wanted to be single and free. May she rest in peace.

The bible says that life is short. Earth is a borrow from God.

What?!?!
This didn't age well considering she also suffered from alcoholism 🍸 🍾
Watch CNN ruined it for me! Beautiful lady though. Gone way to soon.

She probably had a very busy schedule in her career she had no time for marriage or kids
How did this go from being about Allison Payne to being all about you? 🤔🤷🏻♂️🙄🤦🏻♂️😂
@@johnbrowntheprophet Two key words, "I digress". You're welcome, smh.
@@Nando6413 - You digress from what? Do you even know what “digress” means? 🤔🤷🏻♂️🙄🤦🏻♂️😂
