    Hey, I was brought here by the Instagram post of "Brothers of Metal" recognizing, honoring and recommending your video on Chainbreaker. Loved it. And while looking around on your channel and watching a few of your videos, I noticed that you haven't done anything on Orden Ogan and/or Victorius yet. I kinda hope that still comes some time in the future. And if those two bands are not on your radar (which I don't guess considering your metal experience and Orden Ogan's new album having come out a few days ago) please listen to them. My sub is guaranteed ^^
    Greetings from Germany (too) ^^

    maybe the whole "liberate the multiverse from slavery and fear" is referring to Zargothrax being alive during the last 1000 years and somehow experiencing/witnessing the brutal expansion and conquests of the kingdom of space dundee, because it is established that there is alien life in the universe (if not, then the multiverse which seems traversable). I think during the 1000 years between albums the "heroes" stopped being "the good guys". But of course Zargothrax is still an evil chaos wizard so his way of dealing with this way greater evil is with his own evil.

      Oh, now this is the discourse I'm here for. I never thought of it in terms of colonialism but it makes absolute sense. That would also explain why the goblins hate humans so much, if they're being oppressed throughout history of course they will want to fight back.

      @@Fuchswinter The goblins still have their own state though, proven by the fact that there's a goblin king. Maybe the Kingdom of Fife just invaded part of it and won, slowly taking over the Goblin Darkstorm Kingdom. This would also explain why the Goblin King is on Zargothrax' side, perhaps he thinks it'll only destroy the Kingdom of Fife, not knowing it'll destroy everyone and everything. That does raise the question of where the Goblin King got the Crystal Key. Maybe it's linked to the Crystal Laser Battle-axe and the Crystal Enchantment of Steel in some way, it can't just be a coincidence that 3 crystal concepts are introduced in the same album, can it? Also, how does the Goblin King know so much about how to use the key, but seems to have never done it himself? He seems to want it to be used, since he gives it to Zargothrax without hesitation, telling him exactly how to use it.

    I always thought that Zargothrax's portal destroyed earth lol

    I think Zargothrax is driven by revenge and revenge alone, since I would be pretty pissed off too if I was frozen for 1000 years in liquid ice whilst fully conscious on a barren moon guarded by the very people who have foiled your last plan and have never lost a fight. Also you forgot to mention Ralathor's motivation, which I have a pretty wild speculation about: what if Ralathor is a rogue Questlord (who can travel through time and space) or simply the last one left? This would answer the questions of: "Why does he only appear when he is needed most?" "How did he survive for so long?" and "How does he know so much?" (Maybe this also answers what his deal is in lfbtgt with him interfering so much, since the Hootsman is presumed dead by Angus and is missing in Ralathor's eyes, Proletius is evil and the Deathknights of Crail are too, so he's the only one left to protect the Kingdom of Fife). He's seen it all, and might have seen an apocalyptic event yet to happen, which he's trying to prevent by protecting the Kingdom of Fife. He's not protecting the Anguses, because he let XIII die at the end of fires of ancient cosmic destiny. Or he tried to prevent the universe from being destroyed in space 1992, and has no reason to not interfere now. The latter could also mean that Ralathor is Anstruther. But that's just a theory, a Gloryhammer theory! (I wrote this at 1am)
    Also where's part III (pls make it)

      OKAY WOW, I've been in the GH theories for a bit but nobody ever mentioned the Ralathor-Questlord connection. That's interesting! With him being in the first album that would likely imply he founded them? Taught them? Going with the wizard theory he might be the one who made them this great.
      Honestly yeah I'd be pretty pissed about being frozen too lol. As for Ralathor, I like the theory that he's after Zargothrax the entire time, for whatever reason. (They're brothers was one theory I found intriguing, seeing how they are the only wizards to appear in person. Anstruther isn't really certain after all.)
      Maybe I'm too deep in the fan more by this point to see all angles oops.
      As for part three, it's coming! (I just recently thought "Hey wait did you ever make that third lore thing?" And the answer is not yet.) I'll get to it as soon as I can!

      @@Fuchswinter Yesss, I like the theory that Ralathor founded the Questlords. Maybe he invented the technology used to bend spacetime, since a lot of stuff from Gloryhammer seems to be a hybrid between magic and technology, especially in the second and third album. I also like the Zargothrax Ralathor brother theory, I've never layed the connection. Apparently Zargothrax has already lived for thousands of years before the first album, so does this mean Ralathor and Zargothrax are immortal? If that's the case, perhaps Ralathor isn't a Questlord but has merely seen the grim future, still making him want to prevent it. This would mean that the events of Apocalypse 1992 are what Ralathor was looking out for, (which was also what Anstruther predicted, so the Ralathor Anstruther theory makes more sense here) but this does not explain how Ralathor got into the Evil Dimension in album 3, since Ralathor does greet Angus XIII like an old friend, and it's been implied Ralathor has been there for at least several months (the terror-vortex puts people in random times I think) so the Questlords thing would still explain this. After part 3, you should do a theory series on Gloryhammer, I'd love to see it.

    It maybe the songs on the album are out of order because I assumed the songs universe on fire , goblin king go after one another because zargothrax he has the plan to destroy the universe but needs the key from the goblin king to do so.
    The song universe on fire is also from the perspectives of both Angus who wants to protect it while Zargothrax wants to destory it ...the lyrics make it obvious that this is it

    • @Fuchswinter
      @Fuchswinter  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's a good point! It might also be that since Zargothrax apparently can jump through time /warp space (physically the same thing really) the timeline gets messy.

      @@Fuchswinter Zargothrax is a wizard after all, and wizards seem to have a strong connection with time, established in Anstruther's Dark Prophecy and Wizards!. Though if that's the case, why did the Chaos Wizards wait so long to free Zargothrax? Maybe they all have the ability to see points in time, but only some can actually time-travel? What if Ralathor is a wizard? This could explain his old age and how he appears exactly when needed the most.

      @@emillambrigger all great points! I'm pretty certain Ralathor is a wizard of some sort, it's really the only thing that makes sense. Though I have a feeling he is more powerful than he lets on but just wants to be left alone :,D
