I’ve just come in from removing the door trim from my CL to check a mirror. I would never have attempted this job without your video. It was still a damned fiddly job ( I had to remove and reseat the window seal as a previous scrappy job had left it offset. The person doing that job also removed and threw away the insulating foam behind the tweeter, and lost one of the bottom clips. Given the engineering that went into the door (this car is a beautiful piece of industrial design), this was a bit annoying, but whatever. Thanks again. The more CL ‘how to’ videos there are, the better, now that the model is no more. Shame. There are dozens of S-class variants, but only a few rarefied CL variants were made, which for me increased the magic of this classic grand tourer.
