Sissel is from my home town of Bergen, Norway. She started her performances as a teenager, and has an incredible number of beautiful performances in many languages. But I have to say that this performance is the most emotional and perfect of her career. No one can listen to this and not show some emotion. Your reaction shows that you have a good soul.

This is Siss at 50 with nearly 4 decades of performance singing behind her, 34 as a professional. So she knows what she is about. She makes it look easy, singing sotto voce, but singers know it ain't if you are a soloist. She is really suitable for this song as she is a sincere believer with a fine soprano.
