I’m going to Cape Town in two weeks. I’m a diver and will be doing a dive or two...I’m also wanting to do lots of free snorkeling. Please tell me, in this video, did you just snorkel from the shore or were you on an organized tour?
Hi there! Indeed, easy accessibility is one of the big pluses of Cape Town diving. Almost all my scuba and snorkelling happens right off the shore. That said, I also love jumping on a boat to deep sites to see the enormous sea fans, basket seastars, and epic u/water topography of massive granite boulders covered with sea creatures. The dive centre that you're diving with should be able to brief you about the various snorkelling spots. Enjoy your visit and safe diving👌😊
I just recently snorkelled at windmill Beach. This is awesome footage. I can't help getting nervous about those sharks
Wow the water was so clear
You was wearing the wetsuit because of the cold benguela current in the fall.
Where was this? If you see some of my videos I’ve been snorkeling (my footage is very bad footage). But I want to know where so I can go there
Southern end of Rumbly Bay (aka shark alley) at Miller's Point. Or the north entry if going in from Castle Rocks.
Anna Aldridge thank you so much. If I go there I will post a video so sub to me for more epic content! Your a huge help thanks
