Using a seaglide is better than a seamoth cause it is attracted to noise so to avoid detection you need to be stealthy or if you have a perimeter defense just shock em.
When i was farming for magnetite a warper came and teleported me out out of my sea moth and i nearly had a heart attack it was my first encounter with one too lol
This video is time confusing, instead look op the coordinates for magnetite, -360, -110, -225 is an easy cave, no long traveling needed, no dangerous creatures, just take 1 or 2 extra oxygen tanks
in your video settings you've probably set your color grading to "filmic." While this sounds like an amazing setting.... all it really does is turn the gamma down on the game to make it more dark. Turn this off and you should see a difference in brightness.
I was trying to get magnetite by going to the Dunes [bad idea I know] and the Reaper destroyed my seamoth, so I'm stuck with this tutorial lol, thanks mate!!
Very, usually scares you pretty bad. Go to google and look up Subnautica leviathan encounters, and you'll get a funny video of youtubers getting scared by it.
@@midnightgamingmysticnightmare OK I’ll do that later I actually had the guts to go get the Magnetite and one more question is buying sub zero are worth it
When the Leviathan sees you and decides to come after you he makes an extra loud yell, so it helps to listen for that. Also the Seamoth attracts the Leviathan from farther away which is why I mentioned going down without a Seamoth. It still sneaks up and jump scares me every now and then though lol!
Well I tested it. I played around with how close I can get to them before they agro and got an idea of that. Then I noticed that when they do agro they make a specific roar which tells me to run. That's about it. In the end I realized that where I showed on this tutorial is usually safe as long as you don't go on the back side of the vent when the Lev is close.
Even easier and less fucking terrifying than this is just going into the jelly shroom caves. Right near the start of the game, no need for seamoth and you get so much magnetite. You don’t even need to go near the shrooms and the big ass snakes. Just look around the sides.
i did this and i lost my second seamoth to that reaper and there wasn't even any magnetite at those volcanoes. and then i ran out of oxygen and drowned trying to find the magnetite. in conclusion, do not do this (you'll die).
Perimeter defense. If the Leviathan has you in it's grasp you can pop the perimeter defense and it will let go immediately. If it is close enough to hit with the perimeter defense then it usually will cause it to take off in the opposite direction. If you don't have the perimeter defense yet then charge the Leviathan head on with the Sea Moth. A second before you collide dive strait down or angle strait up. The Leviathan will miss you completely and you can run like crazy.
Mushroom Snakes live by the mushroom biome entrance, so there are dangerous creatures. Plus you waste a ton of air and gather time going down that deep in the mushroom biome. With my way you get two to three times the gather time than the mushroom biome. That's what I mean by easiest.
The reaper was so chill around me. He didn’t even try to give me a hug. They need more hugs.
Yeah they can be pretty chill as long as you stay out of their line of sight I believe.

Same 😂😂
Honestly first time I saw one I just went full speed into it's face with my seamoth
Mystic Nightmare, this guide seems to be highly underrated. Nice job! Filled my backpack and heading back for more. Thank You!
Very welcome!
Thanks man! Keep up the great vids! The reaper was looking at me like it was hungry
They are always hungry! They might have tape worms!
Thank you so much!
I feel confident of going down there thanks to your guide.
I spent about four hours looking for magnetite and finally gave up and looked up ur video really helped me thank you!!!
You're welcome!

Right on the money. Thanks so much! Perfect and to the point.
No problem, glad I could help.
Thanks! Excellent description of the location.
Glad I could help!
Thanks I needed to know where to find magnetite
You are very welcome!
Still works in 2023 and even easier with a seamoth
how is it so bright for you its pitch black for me and terrifying

How terrifying is a first encounter for reaper I’ve never encountered one

@@midnightgamingmysticnightmare OK I’ll do that later I actually had the guts to go get the Magnetite and one more question is buying sub zero are worth it
@@rudyy3800 Yes. If you enjoyed Subnautica you'll love sub zero. It has lots of voice acting and a more involved story line that's very interesting.
The moment I heard Leviathan I was like should I really be doing this
LOL I know it can be a little intimidating.
Your more useful than google cheers for the upload helped a lot
You're welcome.
Well he is technically posting this on a google app sooo... 😂
@Yobop whats my comment got to do with you ? Nothing. So why post it
Didn't find any magnetite but my first reaper encounter!
I'm about to go there ill see if its the same on my side because it could be they removed it from a update
They are still there, I would wanna take a closer look if you need them
@@shadowxd79 I did now find some and I saw a lot of more reapers
@@catcher311 its worth being paranoid and scared for it
Easily one of the better tutorials thanks
Only one of the BETTER? Not the BEST!????
@@midnightgamingmysticnightmare I've tried many others this for me just works 👌🙃
Thanks if it wasn’t for you I would’ve never found it
No problem!
Thank you this helped a lot
Np bud
You're welcome
I got one, I shat myself because the reaper roared, got eaten on my way up
LOL!
I like how you are so calm close to laviathan

@@midnightgamingmysticnightmare lol thanks for the tips keep it up
REAPERS!?!?! don't use a seamoth for this they detect seamoths more than seaglides
Yup, that's why I mention parking your Seamoth in the big guns moon pool.
that is why i like ghost more than reaper
ghost only attack if you go near them
Thanks you for the info
You're welcome.
Thanks very much!!!!!
No problem
I don’t know how your able to go down there without worrying about the Leviathan.

This may be out of context but u showed me where the island was for diamond 😂
Yup you've got to cover your bases! Some people need their hands held every step of the way lol!

Warper just suprised me and did some iluminati shit😅🤣😂
Yeah they used to make me poop myself when they jump out at you like that!
What is the best way to evade the leviathan?

I didnt find eny i looked everywhere
Got tag teamed by a warper and a reaper so either I’m really unlucky or you’re lying lmao
Very unlucky. Usually the warpers are the only ones that give me a hard time.
Almost got ate by the leviathen, scared the hell outa me lmfao, thanks for the help m8
No problem bud, glad I could help and the tutorial is still relevant.
Thanks i got so much magnetite lithium and diamond

its there i found 3 then ran away
Thanks
Welcome!
Jajajja reaper gonna kill me I ain't going there nope
It's ok! you can do it! just do it! JUST DO IT!
It's not the easiest way, the mushroom cave near your base is, and no dangerous creatures either.
Mushroom Snakes live by the mushroom biome entrance, so there are dangerous creatures. Plus you waste a ton of air and gather time going down that deep in the mushroom biome. With my way you get two to three times the gather time than the mushroom biome. That's what I mean by easiest.
