When Neil died I sat and drank Irish whiskey and listened to every RUSH album in the order they recorded them that weekend, so glad I did because I have rediscovered this record and this is my second listen in the past 5 days, long live Neil's memory and long live RUSH!
I agree with enthusiasm. "Counterparts" have been getting old very very well. Lyrics are very in concordance with what we live and experiencing nowadays.
this tour was freaking amazing. Loved RUSH since I was a wee lad. Saw 9 tours and they got better every time. I can't say that about any other band that I have seen. RIP Professor.
Alex Lifeson is wickedly awesome!! Cut to the chase alright...his guitar cuts seriously deep. A master of many things...not to mention the soaring solo! Positively the most under rated guitarist of all time. It was nice to see him place 4th in guitar mag(or whatever mag that was) this year.
