BEFORE YOU COMMENT!!! I'm getting a surprising amount of comments on the way I pronounce "SEO" in this video. Some so hateful I had to permanently ban users from writing comments on my videos, which I'm kinda shocked about over something so innocent as a speaking error. So just to clarify. In my native language (Danish btw) we pronounce "S" as "C", which makes it sound like I say "SE-YO". Do keep in mind that my education was done IN DANISH! Which means speaking errors like this might accidentally slip into my videos. The fact that even after mentioning in some comments bellow this video that I made a speaking error, that some people still later ON THE SAME COMMENT THREAD bash on my pronunciation is just too much. Don't people think before they write or what? So now I'm pinning this to the top of my comment section to hopefully defuse any more hateful comments about my pronunciation, which to be honest I don't feel I should have to do in the first place. But apparently I do :(
ignore those idiots and jerks we clearly understand your accent and your english is great keep up the good work it is unfortunate that people don't really care how much effort you make on these tutorials.those who make such rubbish comment are clearly not here to study but instead they are here to criticize.

Pertaining to any comments about English grammar, Your English grammar and pronunciation is remarkably good and in fact better and more accurate than many people who actually live in English speaking countries.
you don't have to care about those haters. your English is extremely good;) your videos do help people who want to learn programming languages like me.
My brother lives in Denmark and he had to give language test multiple times because Danish is very much different from English .In fact I am amazed how well he pronounced every English word as it's equally difficult for Danish people to learn English.
Thank you for this video! I was having an issue creating my first local website. I was typing in spanish and the accents weren't translating to my page properly. instead of ó I got ó. After typing the mea tag for utf-8 I no longer had that issue!!! Thanks so much!
How you pronounce SEO didn't hurt my ears. It really didn't take much brain work to realize what you were saying. Esp since it's in the vid title. Loved your presentation. Concise and elucidated very well. Glad I found your channel.

Good god thank you. The internet is just full of "optimize your meta tags" crap, but nothing much in the way of explaining what exactly meta tags are and what they do.
If you use a template website, godaddy website builder, where would you go to add meta tags? Would you add to this type of website or is this already built in?
I'm not familiar with Godaddys website builder, but I could imagine it is very restricted, since it is meant for people who wanna build a website without knowing the required web dev skills. So if you can't find a place on their dashboard to do it, chances are that they don't allow it. :/
What about prefetch to already load next html in cache (for faster loading) or preload to already show the download location of used fonts in order to show text asap...?

Google doesn't pay attention to any keywords and content meta tag, read before , your concept is obsolete, unlike you say, google penalize your site if use too many keywords, nothing wathever your said in this video care to google in 2018, just title and h1 and other html tag,

You didn't pay much attention to what I said while watching my video, because looking at your comment I'm confused by your claims since they doesn't match up with what I said in my video. *I agree with what you say in your comment in the actual video.* I said in the video that only the *responsive tag, the title tag, and the *description tag* were relevant for 2018. These tags doesn't do much for SEO yes, but this is not a SEO tutorial. The title and description tags are important because they are used by Google to write the short snippit you see on links when you get a list of search results on Google. And this is also a type of SEO because they visually improve the chances of people clicking your link. These tags are not *on-page SEO* which helps you rank higher on Google based off its agoritms. HOWEVER on other search engines which are NOT Google, the title, description and keywords tags has an small impact since other engines still find these to have a small relevance. Thats why I mentioned them at the end as not being important to have, but still useful in 2018 for some engines.

i have a Q o viewport. i thought the browser's default html is html5 which is responsive. i don't see the need for such declaration.
The meta viewport declaration is an HTML5 feature introduced together with HTML5 :)

In Danish the "S" sounds like the English "C" which is why I make that mistake a few times in this video :) I didn't realise it until after making it.

They aren't shown in the website. They are meta tags, which are information we feed to the browser that we can't see.
