    At 6:00 you set the items to display: inline-block. Later on you set each individual item to display: block to give more clickable area around them. Why did the original inline-block property not do that already?

    Hi Dani Krossing. My name is Francesco, and i really want to thank you, as i have been watching and studing your HTML course from lesson one. On this Lesson n.13 i had to stop as i was in such WOW..... THANK you!, because you have put so much energy by going to your uni and studing all this, and you are basically giving us this material for free in a very detailed and such organized way.
    I could have paid someone to build a website for me, but thanks to you i can now do it on my own. Im going to support you instead as you have done so much for all the people that have no knowledgne in this field. So i wanted personally thank you so far Dani.. If you add:
    position: fixed;
    top: 0;
    to your nav {} style then you can make the menu stay at the top even when you scroll down the page. Just make sure to add more margin-top to your content otherwise the menu will overlap the content at the top of the page.

    • @deciax
      @deciax 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      how would you more margin and top cuz I've tried changing both and all it does is move the text further up.

    excellent... funny thing is today it's easy to use visual builders in WordPress to build responsive websites BUT when the theme needs tweaking you have to know html and CSS and this is where a lot of web builders in WordPress using Elementor or Brizy (including myself) get frustrated.... so I'm on board for this. Also I find it website magical writing text to build a website, sort of more rewarding to understand the code. It's not difficult at all to understand as soon as you know the tags and what the CSS styles mean (float) etc. Good stuff

    You are not as some other ppl here who makes coding hard to understand, I have watched a person explaining how to style the nav bar and he did unlike you put so much div classes which confused me, thank you so much

      Just a quick "correction" in case you meant HTML or CSS = coding 😊 HTML is a "markup" language, and CSS is a "styling" language. "Coding" is any language that is used for creating "logic". 🙂 Like JavaScript, PHP, C#, Python... etc.

      So while we COULD just use in itself and everything would work correctly, you wouldn't be using correct semantics on your website.
      Neglecting to use and could also possibly have a negative impact on SEO.
