Tip for new mothers coming from a mother myself:
THE BEST way to help ur baby BURP or if they have gas is to start at their lower back. Position ur hand kinda like the way ur hand holds a basket ball (in a cupping position) so ur hand is not completely flat, its like ur grabbing and rubbing the gas upward to get the baby to burp it out.
Start from the lower back n rub up towards the baby’s upper back while applying slight pressure. Continue doing this until ur baby has burped and is no longer crying.
But please be patient, gas is painful and it can take time to relieve it!
Gas as well as teething r very painful times for our little ones n us as parents as well cuz we have to hear them crying, sometimes constantly and feel like we can’t help them or just want the crying to stop. Also having to watch them in pain and not wanting them to hurt, can be hard to bare!
Just remember they can’t talk yet crying is their way of communicating with us.
This won’t last for long, have patience and just comfort ur baby with these rubs!
I know it can be frustrating hearing a baby cry but just breathe,n stay calm cuz I promise it helps. Stress can cause gas so a quiet, peaceful environment will help along with the rubs to get rid of the gas! If u ever feel like u need help, it’s OK to call a helpline, a trusting family member, friend or even 911 if u have to.
Another good tip I can give is to “Never asssume anything”, in any situation cuz it’s so much better to be safe than to be sorry!!

I just love live Jr. He was a preemie at birth. Awwwww...he still little, but I can see those little chunky legs and cheeks. That's why he sleeps alot bc he was a Preemie. How much did he way at birth? How much does he weigh today?
