“Mr Bezos are you listening?” This should be considered a new bit. There’s so much you and Paddles could break down for him. Still lovin this Pubcast! Lol every time!😂
The reason Honus Wagner cards are so rare is because the cards were sponsored by tobacco companies and he was an adamant anti-smoking person and demanded the cards be destroyed. There were a few that were spared, which makes them super rare and super expensive.
This is probably a Paddles question. Where do I find the snotes complete with pictures? the one below the TH-cam post of the Pubcast doesn't have everything mentioned. I tried looking for it on the website too. It's probably right there somewhere and I missed it on account of being an old dinosaur, waiting for an asteroid.
Thank you for asking this Roxanne because I too have never found these show notes and find it frustrating as I feel I've missed a lot of interesting stuff. A termite left out of the loop☹ Should clarify Paddles notes usually appear in TH-cam dropdown, but never links or photos or videos refered to in the Pubcast.
If you hit the down arrow for more information you’ll see all the notes BUt I’ve never seen proper links or any pictures included. The really tiny down arrow is to the right of the show title. 🤷🏼♀️🥂 cheers!! 🍻 I’d be happy to help Paddles with the links, etc. 🙋♀️🙏💕
Virginia Key was the site of the greatest outdoor bar called Jimbo's. It was decorated with whatever washed up on shore. Great place to hang out, Miami Vice was filmed there and Who Let the Dogs Out video plus many others. Code violations got the best of Jimbo with some of the hodge podge of cottages catching fire and it was closed down after almost 60 years
That Brinks truck story is interesting. San Mateo is near San Francisco and the Grapevine is closer to Los Angeles -- that was poor or questionable security. The 'suspected' KGB agents are an interesting story - I have little doubt they are the real deal. Kathleen is my favorite comedian and she is putting her degree to good work, too. She is always coming up with good stories to entertain! At least pick a decent American pizza to sell in Italy.
You're my favorite podcast & comic. Hoping u come to theatres in Glenside or Easton quaint theatres in Pennsylvania or Windcreek Casino in Bethlehem, PA. Much love for 100 more
OMG ! My husband is a total garage, sports, yard guy. If there is a gadget, we have it. So, he had to order a replacement SCREW, that was stripped: He ordered A SCREW, A FREAKING SCREW, size of a DIME- The replacement came in a SHOEBOX- AN ADULT SIZED BOX…..WHAT THE HELL! Then I ordered a ton of bathroom stuff that I order a few times a year. One box was so heavy I could not life it off our inset, then the second box had…wait for it… 3 pairs of Socks! I could have easily tucked into the other box… And don’t get me started on the new boxes that are so flimsy they cannot be reused…WHY?
“Enough about Elvis. I’ll just get sidetracked here” goes on 10 minutes sidetrack about First Ladies series 😂. Back to Dollywood coaster, oh that was the topic. Forget the coaster, on to awesome tangents of Dolly concert experience. On a roll. This requires many voices, you could be the next Sybil.
Kathleen! You can’t eat a glazed Twinkie followed by vinegar ranch! Oh my gawd I laughed so hard at your face. I suggest a light cracker or some other kind of “pallet” cleanser… hm?
I have to add: it’s not that Red Bank, NJ, with the Count Basie theater. It’s way down south, at the Red Bank National Battlefield, which is (technically) in the town of National Park, NJ, across the Delaware River from the stadiums of South Philadelphia. The “close to the ocean” town Red Bank is about 90 minutes’ drive northeast of there. The battlefield is fighting to be preserved, and we’re trying to keep it in great shape for the future. Biggest problem is no one knows where it is due to the assumption of reference to the town and forgotten is the National Park.
I can't stop laughing ... Vicki and the fried chicken ... 😂😂😂! What really gets me is it doesn't matter what story you share with us about your Mom, Vicki always has a serious explanation about whatever she is doing. 😂😂😂 I just watched a very good documentary about Eleanor Roosevelt. And, yes Jack, she was not the prettiest lady on the block but, come on, she was fantastic and very interesting!" 😂😂I love Beagles. My Mother had a beagle she named Eddie after my Dad. LOL!!! Sadly, she was a senior and Eddie was way too active. We found a nice home for him, but we missed him because he was so sweet and funny. He would get his food dish from the kitchen when he was hungry and bring it to my Mother in the living room. LOL!! ... PEACE.
Yeah, reminds me of my mother, always taking chicken from Woody's BBQ and would ask ya see police around as she made illegal turns in front of the police station🤣
In the 50's comic strip Lil' Abner, his job was as a mattress tester. As far as touching space junk it is unlikely to be radioactive. However if it has come in contact with rocket fuel it could be highly caustic.
Believe it or not the Amazon packaging mystery supposedly has a reason. The size of the package has to do with the number of orders that will be going on the same truck and how they need to position them on a skid to shrink wrap the whole thing so they can dump them at the post office. Pisses mail carriers off, trust me!!!
Dot's pretzles were started in Dorothy's (never went by Dot) North Dakota kitchen, baking for friends and family. Hershey's Chocolate purchased Dot's snack line and her pretzel company in 2021.
If double cheeseburgers had a finite countdown in minutes, I've probably been technically dead for over a decade. How the hell i made it to the age of 41 is a mystery lol 😂
I bet the Brinks drivers were doing their required 30 minute lunch break after being on the road for eight hours; they should’ve stopped a little earlier and split babysitting the truck
K, where do you watch The First Ladies? HOLY SHIT THEY FOUND IT!- We found a house! We put a bid in and it was accepted! Closing Date Sept. 30- our 22 anniversary. LOL! KISMIT! Kids are super excited and we feel so blessed! K and P we'll send you Cheese Curds from the Capital itself! Our new town. Love from WI, Ms. P
My Grandma was born 1921 in Harrisburg, PA.....migrated to ATL (my hometown) in late 40s, I think. Still always said "Hawaii-ya"...no idea why??? ...and I always teased her about having to WAR-SH the dishes or clothes.... But she was a bad ass "pistol-packing mama" security guard during WWII, so she could pronounce shit however she wanted.....
With all of the different voices and accents I sometimes wonder if you have multiple personalities that keep interrupting each other to talk about various things. If Sybil had a Podcast…🤔
Does anyone know the PO Box to send her stuff? I know it’s in an old pubcast somewhere but I don’t want to have to go back through all of them right now
Mama Termite! I listened to a new podcast that is right up ur alley The Blackout Diaries. Stories by comesdians about being drunk. This week's episode featured stand up by a Wisconsin comedian whose bit emded with a Wisconsin specfic joke, that as a 🇨🇦 I got since he explained it well, but u may appreciate more. Kinda podcast I cou,d see u featured on.... im sure uve got stories that would fit right in.
So much enjoyment every time! Lovely fun, thank you.
Thanks Kathleen!

Drink Wisconsibly…good one

Totally agree about Michelle Pfeiffer in “First Lady”, and Gillian Anderson was absolutely incredible too.
Ive had to rewind like 12 times cuz you say stuff and then distracted. Its one of those days. 😂 Love y'all

I think it's a joke she plays on us....there are no snotes
Thank you. I asked this a little while ago and couldn't find it either. Felt dumb.
Oh my gosh!! I thought I was the only one who couldn't find the show notes!! I love y'all. Really. You're all my people.
If you hit the down arrow for more information you’ll see all the notes BUt I’ve never seen proper links or any pictures included. The really tiny down arrow is to the right of the show title. 🤷🏼♀️🥂 cheers!! 🍻

Dolly's scene on The Orville (Hulu) made me ugly cry. She is just so beautiful inside and out. Her voice is better than any drug on Earth.
I love when Kathleen parodies the petty, pissy watchers online. It just steals my wool. lol

Absolutely correct about the hotdogs. When I was young, I ate hotdogs straight out of the packaging. My son did the same thing.
You're my favorite podcast & comic. Hoping u come to theatres in Glenside or Easton quaint theatres in Pennsylvania or Windcreek Casino in Bethlehem, PA. Much love for 100 more

I lived my life like this with my mother, some of the family have carried on the tradition🤣
Kathleen! You can’t eat a glazed Twinkie followed by vinegar ranch! Oh my gawd I laughed so hard at your face. I suggest a light cracker or some other kind of “pallet” cleanser… hm?
PJ pants??😃 pink and green and YES please!!
I eat peanut butter with a spoon, right out of the jar. I need to get my calculator out to see if that makes up for all those smokes I smoked.
Can I place a vote for pajama pants!!! 🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️
I, too, puncture the excessive amounts of plastic bubble packaging - LOL

I loved “The Americans” lol your mention of broken ribs at the breakfast table.
You are so right about Hwy farty faur and Warshington! So St. Louis.
Same with Missouri and Missorah 😏
I live in Texas....I just let my grass die. I can't be bothered watering that shit
I only eat hot dogs when they have been grilled....and I've been drinking!! Lol
We use to eat un-cooked hot dogs all the time when I was a kid! I'll even eat one now if I'm in a rush. 😋

The box for the batteries had to be big enough for the hazard labels
Twitty city! I had to be dragged through there as a child. And he had been dead for a good 10 years and not a can of rust oleum insight!
I love pickle juice!!! It's supposed to be the go to when you get a Charlie horse. Go figure. 😜
I'm just caught up with this episode.
I did want to congratulate you on a correct pronunciation of Nacogdoches!
Not everyone gets it the first time.
I question the Bali of that food study 🙋♀️

Dot's Pretzels are based out of Velva, North Dakota (South Dakota termite here)
My grandma used to say Hawaii-ya ❤️
Dot's pretzles were started in Dorothy's (never went by Dot) North Dakota kitchen, baking for friends and family. Hershey's Chocolate purchased Dot's snack line and her pretzel company in 2021.
George Wallace is hilarious.
BOOM!
On prison “I don’t mind the work, it’s the length”
Please make with the Logo on the Front Center.
Staying at a hotel once canned wine was the only single serve option (OK 2 servings, but I wasn't buying a bottle!). It was OK in a pinch.
We ate raw hot dogs as kids...I don't know why that's so hilarious...
I grew up in St Lou. Raw hot dogs and bacon and mayo sandwich o wonder bread
Packaging Engineers are a thing....
Three words: Hoarder House Flippers.
'how plain SHE was' 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 one million points to Jack Madigan for describing a woman as 'plain'
I would LOVE pajama pants....who's with me???
I'd like to get paid to sleep!

Pajamas!!! lol
The is a degree of package engineering. Had a friend in college who studied it.
100% those highchair hot dogs were raw.

What happened to your left hand pinkie?
That Brinks' story sounds like a bad Jason Statham movie
“In order to be on this network you need to know how to pronounce all 78 states.”
😂😂😂
With all of the different voices and accents I sometimes wonder if you have multiple personalities that keep interrupting each other to talk about various things. If Sybil had a Podcast…🤔
Is Pebbles the manager?
Paddles is her tech
@@debrahelmlinger6256 Much appreciated!

MORE PARENTS!!!
So today at the airport lounge, waiting on an overdue flight, I lost 41 minutes. But I gained 34. So did I actually only lose seven?
Gotta fix Nessie. You keep having to say “The Lochness Momster’s head fell off”. Maybe it’s laughing it off. 🙄 Waiting for it’s ass to fall off.
Why do people say LanGcaster? There’s no G in Lancaster
Or they add a d, Landcaster🤪
Space junk possibly. We're having problems with Space X & Chinese rocket & satellite space junk falling to Earth
@darzilladale hey Kathleen I live in Buffalo. You wanna have wings and beers before you go to Canada?
Or golf? Or go to Madigan’s Bar in East Aurora?
I’m SORRY, I clearly dozed off: what the hell happened to the pinkie finger🤡 And you actually drink pickle juice ? Like what kind of pickle juice…
What happened to you finger? Golfing?
PAJAMA PANTS. PPPC
