my ma won the NJ lottery with 11 other work mates in 1986. they had just been notified the plant they worked at was being shut down. my ma was the supervisor and was off when the drawing happened and she had the tickets. they called her and told her to keep it safe so she slept with her knee high hose and put the ticket inside one. they split $6M. she got approx $14K a year for 20 years. so me and my siblings figured we would never have a chance to win big in our futures. limo came to the plant, picked them up and took them to trenton for their winner check in.
Oh my goodness! My aunt won 6 million with her co-workers in the 1980's. She was a part-time seamtress (I think) so that allowed my aunt to stop working!

I wish you could find a few Chris Evert vs anyone full tennis matches. Chris' strategy was to make her opponent run. Once she could work her way back to the serviceline, she usually took control of the match with incredible ball placement. Her style saved a lot of energy. Martina was more of a power player. Both ladies had their own style, both wonderful to watch, but Chris out thought most opponents. I love the podcast. When you're in Canada, travel north about 7 hours and come spend some time at my cottage in the forest. We've had sasquatch sightings lol.

As a baby I was bitten by a rattlesnake because the owner next door owned a property that milked venomous snakes for their anti-venom. The brilliant neighbor released all 800 rattlers during a fire watch afraid they might perish! He was dumber than mud! Thankfully I survived and so did the idiot neighbor!

On Atlantis: there’s a theory that is was built on what is now known as the Eye of the Sahara in North Africa. There’s a couple channels on TH-cam that talk about it and show maps of where they think it was washed out to sea. One person actually went there and found bits of pots and things but because of the area and heavy restrictions, archaeologists can’t excavate. It’s only a theory, but it was pretty cool!

If you like the pineapple Topochico (sp?), you should try Flying Embers Pineapple Chili kombucha. It's 6.8% alcohol, so maybe for summertime it would be a good idea to mix it with a LOT of ice or cut it with some very cold sparkling water. The pineapple makes it summery, the chili gives it an unusual kick, gets the digestive juices going to stuff a bunch of undigestible stuff into your mouth like chips and ranch and wings or whatever. They're an outfit out of Ojai, California, I think they make hard seltzers too but I only drink their kombuchas. Fave flavor is Ginger, which, along with all the probiotics in kombucha, has a lot of ginger in it, so digestively makes you ready for anything.
I watched the entire trial - I’m retired - and it was incredible. There was so much going on, you cannot get a true understanding of the extreme level of subterfuge. No, Kathleen. The Fabergé eggs are amazingly beautiful and feats of engineering. A lot of them were automatons and they revealed the equally exquisite “surprises” hidden inside..also made of precious metals, enameled, and with jewels. The Forbes Company in NY had some, the Metropolitan Museum in NY has one. Interesting side note, Joan Rivers was quite a collector of Fabergé pieces though not eggs and now her daughter Melissa has them.
