Yep! This is one of most underrated OSTs on the Megadrive, maybe cos the game was not so great (still enjoyable imho). Another fine piece by Matt Furniss!
I didn’t know Timothy Dalton’s Bond could ninja leap, in You Only Live Twice he didn’t study long at Tanaka “Tiger’s” ninja school and he did get his ass handed to him by a pair of Hiyaing ninjas who were Hong Kong Narcotics in License To Kill. And these must have been some androids of Mayday and Odd Job since they both died, Jaws survived and found happiness with a short blond with glasses and pig tails and Baron Samadi was still alive riding on the back of the train at the end. Good call back to the movies, and the car at the end looks more like the Lotus that could turn into a submarine in The Spy Who Loved Me, rather than the updated Aston Martin.
Wow ! I always avoided this game in the rental store, thinking it isn't all that great, but, in watching this, it isn't all that bad, thanks to an awesome soundtrack. I'm pulling it out on emulator to see how it controls.
Controls are a bit sluggish, almost close to something like Flashback. Once you get used to it, it's enjoyable though. Make sure to quicksave, cos it's easy to fall to your death. And yeah, the OST is one of the top 5 most underrated OSTs on the Megadrive. Matt Furniss again!
@@KTJohnsonkidThunder i know lol, at the time i only watched Goldeneye and World is not enough, then i rented this game and couldn't get past the boat level. Then i my Dad and i watched Goldfinger. That woman in the blue dress 👗 is not fooling me. Blatantly turning up everywhere pretending to be some sort of captive only to squeal with delight when bond unties her.
@@KTJohnsonkidThunder It's like 9 out of 10 european games on the Mega-Drive have music by Matt Furniss played on Shaun Hollingworh's driver. But the whole thing here moves a lot like on Alien 3. I've played this game before eons ago, and had never noticed that, but watching this video really made me think it works a lot like Alien 3... if you change the women JB saves here for the hostages from Alien 3 you have the same goal, the way the scroll works here is identical (and I think that's what got me more), the way James Bond jumps here is a lot like how Riplay jumps on Alien 3.... and I am pretty sure some of the sound effects are the same (though you also have a point here). I dunno. I'd like to know who coded this game.
Ok, not the same coder at all. Paul Margrave here, Tim Round on Alien 3, and except by Mat Furniss, no one else worked in both games. Still weird to me, he.
I spent all my sega days on shinobi, sonic 2, and golden axe.. I didn't discover bond until goldeneye on 64.. now as an adult, im about to order this game on ebay and catch up lol

Why the hell could I never beat mission 3 as a kid
I used to play this to death as a kid!
Some good memories you've brought back here mate 👌🏻
Glad I'm wearing headphones. The stereo effect music is bomb.

Mystic Defender, Decap attack, Chakan, this, Shinobi 3 and 2 and 1 so many memories...Sega you were awesome come back!!!

Excelente soundtrack! 🇧🇷
This game was one of the difficult ever on sega but the background theme good 👍 "THE DUEL"
Эх, детство))
I was way too young to apreciate this game at the time. i was still learning theres another james bond other than pierce Brosnan lol
Timothy Dalton's likeness was present here, and this game was released 2 years before GoldenEye.

It's like Shinobi crossed with Rolling thunder 2
Dalton had a Bond game? Awesome!
Childhood Since 2004!!!!
Que buenos momentos de mi niñez
Good game. Completed many times
Can instantly tell this was composed by Matt Furniss - his music is incredible. Also, is that meant to be Grace Jones at 12:30?
It could be, but it might also be Thumper (Trina Parks) from Diamonds are Forever :)
The music is kick-ass! It is the very best part of the game.
It's 100% supposed to be Grace Jones as Mayday. In the owners manual for the game, it says her name is Yo Yo. Lol, I always got a chuckle out of that.
Ahhh the old times
James Bond's theme slaps hard on the Genesis. 🔥
Tips: Dont pick a bomb at 19:46 before kill a boss at 19:57. Kill the boss first and then pick a bomb instead. This trick will make you win easier
Que buen juego mi soundrack favorito es de la mision 1,2 y 4 pero mucho mas la mision 2 una joya
I love this game!
my memory is fuzzy if i m correct u can also take small sub marine to escape in the frist level (i cant remember)
Yep! The sub or the jetpack. Personally I think the jetpack is cooler
Ive remember playing this game on the emulator this is basically a 16 Bits 2D Goldeneye game which is really cool
Is that Timothy Dalton as 007?
Yes.
Oh that's strange. In my version, there's no ticking bomb sound at 3:13!
3:05 la famosa antena de la mission 2 📡
Those jumping sounds remind me of Jurassic Park for sega genesis
my first sega game. that was my 2nd grade
That woman in the blue dress 👗 is not fooling me. Blatantly turning up everywhere pretending to be some sort of captive only to squeal with delight when bond unties her.
Finally i found this game cuz im stuck at the very first level and didin't know what to do lol
Yikes what happened????
Shame there's not much of an ending
@@philosoFreedomGaming i was a kid and ofc i dont understand very much and i don't know the objective
i was 4 years old my older brother played this game. in stage 3 i called those enemies austalians.
Sorta wish it could be longer and more levels. Other than that it seems fun
Anjaaayy 😅😅😅
Why the hell, I never complete the Mission 1
Still remember this shitty control
Is PVP or Handphone or PlayStation 2
Why does this feel likes its running on the same engine of Alien 3?
I will say the sound driver for one thing and the composer behind this game are shared.

Sonic as James Bond
Tails as Q
Amy as Moneypenny
Sally or Shadow as M

What a dissapointing ending screen.Great music though.
Someone should rom hack this use this game engine make it in to a Aliens 3 game
Who plays James Bond in this, looks like Timothy Dalton?
Yeah it is
