    They can be a real pain to rig but you made it look easy there. I tend to superglue the body to the head after rigging for 2 reasons- the body will last 10 times longer and if a fish nips at the lure but doesn't hook up, the body won't pull off the hook holder and spoil the presentation so the fish is more likely to come back for a 2nd go

      Thanks slippery olympics , these are good tips! Wrasse are a problem with the tail nipping , not that we see many here though.

    Thanks. I caught my first bass last year on a 120mm 25g Fiiish Black Minnow. The bass destroyed the tail section!! I superglue them.

    Great video as always, very informative. Just one bit of constructive criticism if that's OK? If music is absolutely necessary best to 'duck' it when speaking. Premiere Pro can be set up to do this - recognising when there's a voice and 'ducking' the music by keyframes so it's not competing with the talking.

    • @SaltwaterAngler
      @SaltwaterAngler  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for that, we use final cut and set the levels from compound clips. We will get there , small improvements every video so thanks for your input

    Some size of a lure.. Hopefully you get a beast with it..

  • @mrfixit2788
    @mrfixit2788 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    What size do you use from the shore? 25g seems a bit light to get it out there with even a light breeze

    • @SaltwaterAngler
      @SaltwaterAngler  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It’s dependent on location but 25g is surprisingly fine for lots of shore lure fishing - a decent rod can punch through the wind

      Thanks yea I kind of resent supergluing as I’ve already bought a lure I do t want to redux it ! But yes worth carrying some , I do have the advantage of editing but the key is getting that tail on accurately
