Please clarify that sheet used to make flange joint,when we used nut bolts to joint other piece,it should be measured for payment or not
Hi Mr. Arun Tyagi,
If you fabricate hand make ducts then flange transverse joint connection start from 901mm to over 2400mm but flanges & bracing varies as per duct max size.
In BOQ rates, G.I sheet is included all types joints, bracings, supports, nut bolts etc mostly.

Sir! in Area (SFT) you divided by 6; intead of 12 Sir I have doubt.......in my calculation its shows 48.66 sqft of Sr. no1
Area = (A+B)x2xL, if all parameters are in feet.
Area = (A+B)x2xL/12, if A & B are in inches.
Or you can write:
Area = (A+B)xL/6

Simply we take length of reducer. Half length of reducer consider larger size of duct and another half length of reducer consider shorter size of duct. But it has formula, if you want to calculate accordingly
