Hello Eman! My name is Kaymah Henries. Within the last few years, I’ve uncovered my lineage. Although I am American, my goal is to get to my father’s (Franklin Henries) country and help make it what he and my grandmother, Ma Zoe, dreamed it to be. As I am of the Vai people, it is my duty. Blessings to you!

A great tourists site, resorts town that could bring a lot of revenue to Liberia and the people of Cape mount. A GOD help the leaders of Liberia to dream big for our country. This place is no different from places like the Dominican Republic, Bahamas, Jamaica where the people are living on tourism. I see boat rides, beautiful resorts that will employ thousands of people and more. Everything that the people of Liberia need, the LORD has given to us. Liberia is so abundantly rich but it's like sitting in billions and living like paupers. Where there's no vision the people perish. We pray for vision and developers.

You should research and report on the history of lake piso from the days when Pan Am flying boats landed on there to refuel on their way to Cape Town and its widely believed that the lake was formed due to a massive meteor strike millions of years ago and that it is home to an incredible diverse ecosystem including Manatee also that its a world heritage location.

      Hey Mark,
It would have been great if you provided the references to these historical events so Emmanuel could continue his great work and spend less time researching these events. If you have the references, please provide them.

I'm gonna repeat this every time somebody mentions "The Ministry of Information, Cultural Affairs & Tourism": The national budget for Tourism in Liberia in 2023 is ZERO dollars and projected to be ZERO dollars in 2024 and 2025 according to the Ministry of Finance. Just look it up online. It's a shame because tourism could be one of this countries best income producers. The people who are interested in tourism should form investment groups for eco-tourism, historical, recreational etc...these are low capital investments.
TH-camrs like yourself are literally doing half of the Tourism Boards' job by promoting the country. Other people who care need to step in and make these neglected sites worth visiting because the (current) government has no plans to do it.
