Players aren’t the only ones whose heart break when they lose. I was a student of La Salle in the 90s who never witnessed a championship when I was a student. Our circle of friends most of often than not watch the UAAP Games back then and every finals, we were the heartbreak kids. DLSU Green Archers were always the team to beat and yet always finished a runner up. But it didn’t stop us from watching and even when we already graduated, we would still watch after office at the venue…and finally in 1998, the elusive championship came... and boy were given a 4 year streak of championships after that. That was something special. The La Salle community will always be behind our athletes. We thank them for bringing glory to La Salle, not only when winning but also in defeat. Always chin up and be proud you are donning the green and white. Congats Green Archers, the UAAP Season 86 Champs! Animo La Salle! 🏹💚🏹
