I was in first grade. Me, my brother, and our childhood friends were in my backyard playing and being kids. Our friend Maverick decided to turn on numb by Linkin Park. That moment spawned my love for not only the band, but for music as a whole. They stayed with me through my childhood and even carry over now. I will never forget you Chester. We'll miss you. Hearing of his passing made me cry like a baby, and I don't cry often, it shows that even the biggest of us, can fall with a hard enough push. I'll miss you Chester, I hope you're finally at peace. I'm so angry at him for leaving his family behind like that, but I know the feeling of helplessness, if any of you out there are considering suicide, please know that it is never the best option.
