I had this on a PS demo disc, we played the demo for hours but could never find the game on shelves. Between this, DOA and Tekken, these were the most fun fighting games I played growing up.
I need to find a copy of this game. I didn't even have any demo disks with a playable demo, just one that featured this trailer video, and I watched it as a kid thinking how cool it looked.
i remember this from an official playstation magazine demo disc a while ago :) the version on the disc had the same visuals, but different music playing. ehrgeiz is so cool. i love the cat that appears at 1:17 :)
Of course, that's Lee Schuwen, the master of Kempo and he actually has a special attack using the 1 finger touch of death. According to his story, after being killed by lethal poisoning, he is brought back to life from a one of a kind elixir. However, the side effect to this is he will continuously age younger as time goes by. He enters the tournament in hopes on finding immortality. That's a nice touch to show that part for his story as lot of fans of Ehrgeiz never notice this during the opening.
I always found it funny how the police girl (forgot her name) quickly opens her locker yo grab her yoyo instead of the gun that's right next to it during an emergency.
