    This is the first video where I've been asked to applaud at the end, and you know what, I did. In fact most of your videos are excellent and very worthy of praise. Way to go!! :)

    it's so nice to see how it's made. Just showing the process.
    Nothing overdramatic, no disturbing music.
    If you continue like this i will call you "the Bob Ross of camdrone flying" ;-)

    Big thumbs up brother. Your VDO footage of the scenic is great, but your VDO capturing the process and what you were doing is even better. Awesome!!

    Yes, you heard me applauding. That was tremendous. Please don't ever think that your videos are not as interesting for others as it obviously is for you. I am certain I'm not the only one that finds your exploration and experimenting entertaining and great tutorials. I find myself getting great practice looking at the telemetry and growing more accustom to my own DJI Go screen, albeit System International rather than Imperial English. Great job man. Please keep it up. We're out here leaning on you. By the way, I don't like to subscribe to much but I just subscribed to you.

      Thanks man. Good to hear. With supporters like you, I'll keep doing this for a long time ;-). I still got a lot on my harddrive to process and lot's of ideas already, so...

    • @NeverMindYourOwn
      @NeverMindYourOwn  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dominator V3. There will be a new model Base HD from Fatshark anytime soon, with a better resolution and without the possibilities to modify it that much (what is needed for drone racing) and thus cheaper. So I'd look out for that one.

    Dude that was great, is the location in Spain?

  • @Zbip57
    @Zbip57 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    You certainly are brave flying into some of these locations. You asked about the Return-to-Home behaviour if signal is lost. I was cringing at 14:30 into your video, because you put that ridge line on the right of the screen between you and your Phantom. Loss of signal is imminent! Let's say your RTH height is configured to 60m. At that point you were currently flying at 370m above your Home takeoff point. As that is already higher than your 60m designated RTH height, the Phantom would simply have turned for Home maintaining its current height of 370m, then descended straight down to land once directly overhead the Home position. But on its way Home it would flown smack into that ridge and crashed. You need to set the RTH height higher than any anticipated obstacle between the Phantom and Home. If you set it to 500m, then it would at least first climb to 500 before turning for Home. I don't know how you got away with that earlier at 6:00-6:30 as you turned to the right and flew around the backside of a steep ridge where it lost image transmission signal. If RTH had kicked in then you'd have been in trouble. I can't stop watching your flights, but I'm chewing my fingernails the whole time. :)

    • @NeverMindYourOwn
      @NeverMindYourOwn  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ha ha. I have Smart RTH turned on. It means it will do Obstacle Avoidance when RTH. If it runs into an obstacle, it will ascend until the obstacle is no longer there and then resume RTH.

    • @Zbip57
      @Zbip57 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ah, of course yes, yours is a Phantom 4. I have a P3 Pro without the forward facing obstacle avoidance feature. I'd rather have obstacle avoidance facing to the sides and rear. That's where most of my danger points seem to come from. I stupidly backed into a tree once. Here's a question though. What if your obstacle requires climbing higher than the max 500m limit?

    • @NeverMindYourOwn
      @NeverMindYourOwn  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I haven't tested that out, but my guess is that it will still climb. Some people said that during RTH it could also manually fly higher than 500 meters and that DJI 'fixed that bug'.

    • @Zbip57
      @Zbip57 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Needs testing. I think it's the other way around. It was originally a 'bug' that allowed climbing higher than 500m while in RTH mode. But they 'fixed' it so you no longer can.

    Enjoyed the video. Have you tried the app "Litchi" before? With the app, you are able to fly using 3D googles, which gives clearer visuals as your flying

    • @NeverMindYourOwn
      @NeverMindYourOwn  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven't tried it yet, but I will one day. For 3D view, you need 3D cameras. But this is not what the Phantom 4 has.

  • @asmcriminaL
    @asmcriminaL 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    I do not have a drone but just randomly looking up footage. This is badass. How did you fly home? Do you use the google maps on the bottom left corner to navigate home?

    • @NeverMindYourOwn
      @NeverMindYourOwn  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      In these mountains there is only one direction out. Furthermore, I see a diamond in the goggles that indicates at what angle I am from the homepoint. See my video about the HDMI clonerbox to see that.

  • @robertcalloway6685
    @robertcalloway6685 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    You don't need a 3D camera. the app splits your screen for you. Normally, the googles that are used are around $20.00 to $80.00 American dollars. I use brand called Shinecon, which is around$30.00. Many other people uses , what is called "VR Box. You put your smartphone in the googles. The smartphone's screen is split by Litchi's app. And of course, the smartphone is connected to the controller

    • @NeverMindYourOwn
      @NeverMindYourOwn  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh wow, that's weird. 3D with a single camera. But I will keep an eye on that feature when I will test it.

    Why you say you can't go higher than 500 meters? There's a guy with the same drone like you from Turkey that went up 4,000 ft.

    • @NeverMindYourOwn
      @NeverMindYourOwn  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Either is was not the same drone or he modified it or something, because these don't go higher than 500 meters. There is a setting for max altitude. Normally this should be 120 meters, but you just can't input more than 500 there.

    • @alienlatino2945
      @alienlatino2945 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    • @NeverMindYourOwn
      @NeverMindYourOwn  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I walked the route later on and I did another flight along most of the path. I'll show in upcoming videos. I did not dare to enter the tunnels with the Phantom, because the signal might get lost and then it wants to Return To Home, but will likely be stuck there. Maybe on another day I will try to do something like that ;-).
