- Just got the next model of the Nike Pegasus 40! I've been running in the Nike Pegasus since the 29's (11 of my 13 years in the sport). This version is no joke! Super soft and very easy to put down the mileage! Enjoy!

I like the 40s but for me the 39s are where’s it’s at. It’s just more comfortable all around my foot for me. Can’t wait for the 41s to drop tho

I only wear Pegasus wore the 38s 39s are my favorite and just bought two pairs of 40s and enjoying them let’s see if the 40s live I up to my expectations
39’s were definitely the best
@@adrunner9 I’ve been wearing the 39s for almost a year now I’ve gone hiking in them I’ve walking to work and back went jogging through all of that the shoe is still very comfy and not falling apart.
Definitely a good all-arounder!

@@BobRoss-wm3lc there okay no difference between the 39s and 40. 40s toe box feels a bit wider. It’s still a solid shoe at this point I might be looking for a shoe with more cushioning but that’s my preference

Great question! I would suggest the Pegasus 40, it’s great for everything! It’s less expensive than the other two you mentioned. The invincible would be good for longer runs, the adizero is good for races!

Not half as good as the 39, the 40 is way heavier with this stupid thing on the laces.
The 39’s were definitely really good, especially the color ways and subtle styling differences
Are these good for a half marathon?
These are very versatile shoe and can be used for walking, running, speed sessions and races! Although there are definitely better race shoe options, it’s definitely a good one for training and can be raced in too! Just depends on what you like!

These shoes go for 130 USD but are easy to find on sale luckily! They’re light, cushioned and responsive so they would be a great choice for training for the 1600! Good luck!

Hmmm good question. To be honest, the Pegasus is not the stand-out everyone makes it to be, they’re relatively behind in comfort compared to similarly marketed shoe models. But they have many wearers and have a long legacy of consistency of fit and feel while making small improvements each year. That is why it’s so popular, not to mention they are below most of the market in price (130 for 40’s and now 140 for the 41’s releasing 6/5/2024, when everyone else is around 150-165 usd). Each shoe has its strengths and weaknesses, which is how they’re so marketable. Give them both a try and see which shoe is best for YOU! Hope this helps!

I would say it’s very true to size, maybe a little roomy. I’m usually an 11.5 in Nike and these fit perfect to just a little spacious!
