The odd part is so many people are acting this way after one game. I have been saying for months, give it till week 6 before making a judgment. Starting week 4 they got Oregon, USC and Arizona State back to back. That is when we will find out how good they are. Till then there is really no reason to judge them. I still say 4 wins this season is a success, and anything over 4 wins may get Deion coach of the year. They were literally the worst team last season, so winning 5 or more games honestly may get Deion the coach of the year award. All I do know is that starting week 4 they are either gonna be able to compete with teams like Oegon and USC, or they're not. So that is when the real test starts. I expect them to beat Nebraska and Colorado State, but I have no clue how they will play against teams like Oregon and USC, and neither does anybody else.

    • @Kevin12321

@@chrisgullett4332 that’s not what I mean though. The bottom line is they’re competitive with at least top 20 teams. I think if they go over .500 it’s a massive success. And from here on out every kid in the country is trying to transfer and every recruit is trying to pack their backs for the rockys. Of course when you get later in the season and teams have more tape on them especially good teams it’s going to be different. But you’re also talking about a 16 in tcu and a top 5 in usc. Of course that’s going to be tough. Tcu was tough. But 2 and 12 are looking just as dangerous as they did in the swac. So we’ll see. If the line can hold out for shaduer there’s no telling what he’s capable of when he gets comfortable in big games

OC Sean Lewis will be the next great head coach - please stay at CU at least two years. The offense not onlyran smoothly, they were innovative and he obviously has a great relationship with his qb.
They actually missed one touchdown pass in the end zone and another deep ball, if on track, that guy was gone - that's 14 more points and a 50 burger on last year's runners up.

There wasn't anything innovative about the plays ran & I only bring that up because that's one thing folks to get far too caught up with. What he did great game 1 was the tried & true nuts & bolts of play calling; 1.) Know what your player's strengths are, 2.) Constantly put them in positions to succeed as an entire unit, and 3.) Within the scope of the previous two, constantly get your best players the ball.
That being said, the best thing for him long-term would be to stay on Prime's staff 3 to 5 years just so he can complete the capstone course of what folks call the secret sauce. I don't believe that happens though due to the fact his HC + Prime experience would make it an easy sell for AD's at mid to low level P-5 programs.

The offense has a strong passing attack but poor run game. The team will start off 3-0 but lost to Oregon and USC . It's a tough conference, I think the team end up with a 7-5 record, losing @ Oregon,, vs USC, vs Oregon State,, @ Washington state and @ Utah. Teams like Oregon State and Utah are impossible to beat for Colorodo because they have such strong defenses and good offenses.

Pump the brakes for a second. It was an exhausting game at TCU. Now you play a big strong team in Nebraska, albeit without much at QB. Let's see what happens in week 2. The schedule is debilitating if they don't have depth. That CB/WR isn't playing 130 snaps a game all season. It was one game.

TV broadcasters should avoid saying "Coach Prime" during the broadcast because it gives the impression they are rooting for Colorado. They should say Coach Sanders. They are supposed to be objective and neutral. That being said, the new drinking game is every time they say Coach Prime take a drink. You will get drunk fast because they can't stop saying it over and over and over.

It’s a nice win for Colorado and Prime. TCU is going to be average this year. Terrible secondary, new QB, new WR, new RB, below average Oline. Colorado will be .500 at best by the end of the year

Us old guys have a saying “put your money where your mouth is.” Because every bookie (and they know more than all these talk show host combined) is betting huge on Colorado. They made a killing on TCU, and Nebraska saw their money dry up as soon as TCU lost. So, unless you are a bookie(which you clearly are not) you are at best going to be right 1/4-1/6 times. That 12 game season and you are already 0-1 and predicting six more loses and five more wins. You have less than 1/9 of being right. My advice, don’t gamble

Will see at the end of the year. Colorado’s Oline is not very good. Hunter will not be able to continue to give 100 + a game. They did give up 42 points on defense to a TCU team with a new O coordinator and all new personnel at key positions.
TCU being over rated is more likely than Colorado winning 8-9 games. 7-5 is Colorado’s ceiling (Which is awesome for a 1-11 team a year ago).
Time will tell. Oh and I don’t gamble. I just enjoy watching sports. I don’t care about bookies and Vegas experts. You obviously have an addiction

@@erikwill2891 you are wrong and not very knowledgeable about life. There are people who know a lot more than you or I. You cannot admit that, but you will eventually. I do not have a gambling addiction, I bet because I know the odds an I am willing to put my money where my mouth is. You talk smack. Which is the equivalent of being childish. What I pointed out to you is that your prediction has a 1/9 chance of being right. In gamblers terms that is a long shot. You are a long shot player(ie loser most of the time) which means you really don’t know the odds. Bookies like us know that when teams arrive in Colorado there is a HUGE, GINORMOUS advantage for the home team. Bookies are in the money game. We make the odds and people like you try to beat them and lose every day. Ask any loyal TCU fan how thy were suckered into betting that game. We use tricks, encouragement and advertising … and we won all their cash. Wasn’t even close, spent it by half. Learn how you are being played and stop being so arrogant. Admit you don’t know everything!

@@woodrowbrydson4876 people talk that smack but don’t know much at all. Teams who come to Colorado are giving up a big time home field advantage. That’s not some guess of mine, that is a documented fact. I have been there fishing and working. Anything more than a casual walk is a strain on the body. There is a reason Olympic athletes worldwide train at altitude. Just Another fact people don’t know.

Why does he need to leave? All of the best players are gonna come to his program... Colorado is gonna become the center of the college football universe. From what I see and hear between the lines He knows he's the best and is gonna prove by running through the 2023-24 season undefeated and will guide his team the national championship title .. His Son will be co heisman winner with Hunter his team-mate . And after the season is over Coach Prime will have sufficiently exposed Colorado to his genius thus leaving behind a program with a framework in which they can follow for seasons to come. He's showing them how its done. I hope there paying attention. I hope and pray they are really taking really good notes.. This is a once in a lifetime event and Coach Prime is on the move. And Fortunately for Colorado they will be able to continue if they do everything he's doing maybe they should utilize A.I technology to record and document every moment of this season so they can reference the info at a later date. I believe The biggest compliment they can pay prime is to really embrace the essence of what he's doing and continue grow it and share it.. Im optimistic because they had the foresight to hire him in the first place. Moving on... as for the NFL Fortunately for the NFL He will be moving to The NFL. Im sure his ultimate goal is watch his son graduate college and move on to the NFL with him as the head coach.... He's getting hired guaranteed because when when he does what he's about to do at boulder.. He's gonna be a coaching in the pros I believe if they can be on the same team they can go down as the greatest Father (Coach) and Son (Player) duo The league has ever seen. Would you believe 8 Super Bowls. ..... I believe !
