A lot of work brother and the effect is all worth it. I also cast some things from different metals and alloys but still do jot have time to make a video every week it is a time consuming process and you probably know it 😉

      Thanks!
It's a lot of work indeed, however satisfying and rewarding but it takes a lot of time for both the build itself and the video making!

Nice work..... but why are you making yourself so much work with grinding of paint or the chrome..... it will burn of by its self while melting.... simply skim it together with the other slag

      Thanks for the question.
I could have just left the white paint where it was cause, as you said, it would have burned and came on top.
The chrome plating however, I have never tried to melt a single piece with the chrome on it. If it's just paint it would burn, but if it's a kind of alloy it could melt and, if heavier than brass, could go on the bottom of the crucible. To make sure I've ground most of it off.
In some next melt, I will try as you adviced!
      :)

@@dudemakesstuff Yeah, try it. As already said, paint won't be a problem at all. Also the chrome layer.... it's so thin that it's unnecessary
