  • Conversations about Mohbad is still ongoing. Many are focusing on the cause of his death, which is very crucial. However, there is another important aspect many aren't really talking about, which are the lessons learnt. As a society, we ought to confront the reality of most uniquely talented youth, seeking for fame. This is what Brown has tried to articulate in this Mohbad video. If you have a teenager or a young adult aspiring to be in the Nigerian music industry, you may need them to learn one or two things from this video. Let's hear your thoughts...

I knew Mr Brown's brother back in BU. I salute your wisdom, sir. I share Mo's sentiment of lessons we need to learn from Mohbad's death. As parents, we need to be intentional in our parenting style.

This is why I love burna boy’s mum. She has followed and supported her son in his dream even his manager. When parents support their children dream it really helps them succeed better. Just like Beyoncé too. I read ayra Starr story her mum also a strong support behind her and insisted she must finish school first. Pursuing a dream is not bad and parents should show more support to their children. Everybody must not be a doctor or lawyer .

True, "everyone cannot be doctors and lawyers". But surely, good and godly parental guidance and counseling is highly needed and recommended (especially with the high increase in moral perversion amongst our young generation now).

I really appreciate this conversation. I can relate to Mr Brown's experience. I have a brother who is just picking the pieces of his life because of unguarded passion. He dropped out from OAU also. Parents should help children navigate through passion into genuine purpose! Passion isn't enough, it blinds if not properly channeled and trained.

Morayo, great youtube vloggers are dissecting the issue of cultism and drug abuse in the Music Industry both home and abroad though. The issue is even what made people know about what they call the elite celebrities called illuminati and that is in the same Hollywood that inspires other locations of Music and Movies globally.
